Idk about Yeri, but Irene definitely knows how to sing

SM needs to realize that not every group/song needs a rap/rapper to be good

in the same note, this also goes to gidle, in this case the rapper is an amazing rapper, but not every song needs a rap to be good

Yeri.... I think they should really train her in rap ( she'll be really good if she takes it seriously) or rather I think SM female rap structures are just so weird.... if they had better delivery/flow it wouldn't sound as nursery rhyme-y as it does

Yes. I don’t get why Red Velvet even have a rap line. No offence to Irene and Yeri but they don’t look like idol rappers. If SM had to give Red Velvet a rapper, it should’ve been Seulgi.

Hell yess. Most sm groups don't need any rap tbh. Their idols are capable singers and they should utilize that instead of adding unnecessary rap.

All I am gonna say is that some of their rap parts do nothing for the song and at times made me feel they were completely unnecessary and that they took something for the song, so they should stop having them.

I only really like the velvet side of their songs and those dont need any rap parts. Plus, I dont really find Irene rapping parts that good to begin with.

I don't understand K-pop's obessesion with rapping. You don't need rapping in every song. One of These Nights, Automatic, Bad Boy and Russian Roulette don't even have a rap. I would also take out the rap of RBB and Psycho. I don't think their velvet side needs rapping: standard verses and a slower bridge fits the best. I think rapping works best as a bridge for their red side like in Red Flavor and in Power Up. But rapping shouldn't be any of the girls' focus.
