The amount of money producers can rake on hit songs without the adverse side effects of saesangs becoming obsessed with them makes this an easy choice.

This is an another way to look at this problem, interesting

The stalkers seem to not be worth the price of fame, imo! You could not pay me enough.

Exactly. All the satisfaction and recognition (at least within the industry) with joy of anonymity.

But if I am as "self-lovin" as JYP, I may held a private fan meeting for my sasaeng tho

And thus it begs the question:
Given his character, did JYP ever had a sasaeng???

The world may never know!

Also, I’d make flop songs for myself. Creative control>>>>>>>>>>. Plus, I’d become more known simply on the basis of making my own songs.

def be a producer and collect my checks while chilling in my pajamas

as LSM this isn't a hypothetical I need to discuss

collab with others, and put your "oo ahh oo ahh" or "lalala lalala" part in the chorus and bam!

It ends up separating the heads who are fans of the faces and personalities and those who enjoy the songwriting and music production on a deeper level.
is it?
isn't it usually because people love the singer thus they will find a deeper meaning (or even making up stuff) of the song?

It all depends. I think more people focus at the singer, song, and song meaning level. Creative direction and music production is usually behind the scenes..out of sight and out of mind. This is what I mean.

+10000.
Imagine having the talents of JYP or Teddy, making megabops and national hits like So Hot, Signal, WIL, LSG, Pink Venom, Lalisa, BBY, AIIYL, etc.
I would literally sit all day in a studio and just screw around making music. All the while, royalty checks come pouring in each year amounting to untold millions, what a damn life.
And i would do everything in my power to make all the nugus that i love become worldwide famous. My girl Morissette (famous in Phillipines but not globally yet), several Kpop bands, etc.
