A month later - what's your opinion on Seulgi's solo debut 28 Reasons as a title track and the album?

Title track..i liked it but i did expect more personally. I think the album is okay..for me LA and Crown were stand outs.

One of the best Album this year. And it feels good to have idols with a more mature sound assumed in this period where kpop songs are more and more intended for children.

I've been listening to it so much. Way more than I expected to when her solo was announced. For that matter, all of RV's solos have been interesting and worth listening to.

Tbh, I only listen to the tt when Spotify shuffles it, but many of the bsides are in regular rotation for me: Los Angeles, Dead Man Runnin, and Bad Boy Sad Girl are probably my most listened to.

I agree with citron’s point about it being more mature - between this, Taeyeon’s INVU album, Whee In’s Whee and Hyolyn’s Ice - I’ve really enjoyed the music for grown folks albums this year. They all represent different moods: introspective (Taeyeon), chill (Whee In), sensual (Hyolyn). Not sure what mood I’d consider Seulgi, so much for that metaphor.

It's a great debut album. Dead Man Runnin is one of the best 2022 b-sides.
