Treasure’s music is good. Why are they not getting bigger?

    People said boy groups make noise and they give us a fun song but it didn’t perform well. It somehow sold and charted worse than Nmixx. If it’s not music, what’s stopping them from blowing up?

    There was another thread about this already… You already know boy groups in general are doomed in Korea no matter how gp friendly and catchy their songs are. Sigh. Only luck and virality can make them chart better.


    I saw nmixx stans mentioned nmixx do too much pre-order benefits and lucky draw events and that’s why their sales are high even though their music is atrocious.


    But did treasure really sell less than nmixx? Proof please….

    Their MVs got some of the biggest views this year. They have the 3rd most-viewed MV by a boy group this year.

    They're getting bigger views than Enhypen, Txt, Dream and Seventeen.


    They have one of the most streamed songs on Spotify in Kpop this year. Darari has 140 million streams.


    They sold a million albums this year.


    They sold out the KSPO Dome in Seoul 2 days in a row.


    They sold out their arena/dome tour in Japan in seconds, so they had to add dates...210,000 seats.


    They're currently topping charts in Japan with their Japanese release.


    They just finished 4th in voting in MAMAs Worldwide Fan Choice, beating out Txt, Enhypen, Dream, NCT 127, Sevemteen,Twice, BLACKPINK who supposedly have bigger fanbases.

    Their visuals need to up their stage presence game. The members that have the best stage presence in Treasure don't stand out visually.

    Don't lie OP treasure did treasure really do a dome tour in Japan? Plus that million albums is the cumulative sale of all their albums they didn't hit the million-seller with one album yet.

    Too many members, title tracks aren't good.

    To answer OP, they seem very generic with no distinctive style. Loud kpoppies continue to complain about noise music but don’t actually buy or stream non-noise music.

    Because not everyone thinks it’s good
