Its definitely above living wage

Then, in that case, yes the other benefits are worth it to me.

remember the salary component of a job isn't everything
there's all the other benefits and costs to consider as well
ie. cost benefit analysis
all those other benefits can be calculated in terms of monetary value
let's say the difference is between a 100K job and 80K job (ie. 20%)
maybe the 80K job let's you have more flexibility?? work overall less hours? more paid vacation time - one should factor that into account. Does it have a good retirement? (we call it superannuation in Australia plan), is the medical benefits better? what about the cost of living in new city vs old city? what about the social aspects of the move? is it a bigger city/smaller city? is the environment and overall air/water quality better worse? entertainment wise - is there more nightlife? less? all those things you should weigh up in terms of deciding whether to take the new job or not...

believe me it's got nothing to do with my work experience or ability to craft a resume
companies where i live are just desperate af. like even supervisors i've had who worked with the same store for years were really uncommunicative, mean and just generally incompetent. most stores and restaurants in my area are willing to hire any mildly polite teenager with several months of customer service experience. i think it's because they know i can't just leave for a better job since all i can really do is work as a cashier

Yes I would. My current job sucks to be honest but the pay is reasonable considering I only do casual hours. Housekeeping is very repetitive and boring. I would rather do a job that didn't pay a fortune but it was one I enjoyed than a job that paid well that I hated.
