I am earnestly rooting for them to win, but seeing some predictions totally not mentioning them makes me think that they probably won’t win. Seeing how Grammy is racist and stuff I doubt they would award a non white, non American artists . Predictions are saying that TS exile will win. What do y’all think?

The grammys only nominated BTS to get ratings. They do not care about them at all or they would have nominated Mots7.

If Dynamite can’t get them a win in a non main category, then I really don’t see how they will ever overcome the Implicit bias of the academy voters. BTS would have to live in the US and go around greasing palms, promoting like crazy, making deals left and right, and making connections within the US industry to have a fair chance at a win. That is just too many expectations for essentially a local award in another country.
If BTS won, I would be happy for them. Shocked, but happy.

Sadly they're using them for ratings. The only reason is other than that they deserved the nomination, they nominated them they knew Army would let hell loose. If they really cared about them MOTS7 would have been nominated(if it had it would all be Black Swan Impact). Out of the category, only BTS can win because it obvious but their gonna give it to Justin. All they want is army clout because at this point no one is taking them seriously after they didn't nominate The Weekend. But I don't know what's going to happen because I'm sure they won't give the grammy to them and all hell WILL break loose because of Army and as much as the Grammys are dumb I don't think they'd want that to happen. So my guess is to make up for it they'll let them perform(Black Swan of course). But I don't want to see the boys disappointed about it because of how much they want one and they deserve it.

With the pandemic the odds of them gg to US to do that is none. Their success and popularity in the US won’t be affected even if they didn’t win. I just hope they don’t lose heart and get disappointed. With the biases that the committee has, nothing can be done for that. Unless the diversification of the committee occurs.

Is there a chance? Yes, they managed to get the nomination, "Dynamite" has done well in the US and been the darling of the charts, and music industry insiders are eager to hype them for moving enormous numbers of physical albums in a time when that's increasingly rare. Plus even the Grammys have gotten wind of how strong a fanbase ARMY is, both vocally and monetarily. There's some pressure to give them recognition, as the biggest group in the world right now.
Is it a good chance? No. Grammys are historically incredibly racist (see also: Kendrick Lamar's whole history with Grammys), and so-called "boy bands" often get looked down upon by the old white men who vote in favor of single artists. Columbia Records (their US distributor) haven't really done a "For Your Consideration" campaign that I'm aware of, which also doesn't help their chances.
I hope they win it, because I know how much it would mean to the boys. I also hope they win it because I know how much it would mean to Korea, and the kpop industry. Plus I happen to think they deserve it more than other nominees, so there's that too. I'll be surprised if they win, but hey, occasionally awards do manage to do the right thing.

Her song wasn't that successful compared to Dynamite. Plus, she's nominated in major categories. Those are more than enough. The judges should take this in consideration and give the Grammy to BTS because they dominated the group category. No one comes close.
