I went to one of the KCON events recently and only saw it being used maybe three times max by 4th-gen groups. The rest of the time, they were putting up half hearts, full hearts, and those huge hearts that go above the head.
I could have sworn I saw 2nd gen and 3rd gen using the traditional finger heart way more. Maybe it’s considered too much of a boomer thing for 4th gen idols and now they low-key hate doing it.
What do you think? 
Next time, they are going to do a toe heart instead, just kidding.

Noo it's so cute but it is dying out TT
I assume it's because hand hearts and overhead hearts are easier for more people to see. 
Once the first gen picked up on it, it became old hat and the new kids are going to leave it behind.
