Appreciation Thread - BTS

    Cause those boys deserve it all. They were mocked and bashed for the past 2 years for chasing western validation with English songs but they chose at their peak to step back and slow down. Who does that? If they truly were as mercenary and ambitious and unconcerned for their art they could have just as easily released an entire English album produced by heck Max Martin if they wanted ffs and ruled the charts for the entire year, but they did not do that. They did not even bother to release the song they all knew would be a fan favourite bop - Run BTS, as the title.


    They are focussing not only on themselves personally but on their own artistic growth and development too. BTS are showing by their actions that they are not only about charts and records but about artistic integrity.


    I cannot wait to hear what all the boys have to offer after J-hope's critically acclaimed turn in JiTB where he highlighted his artistry in a new way.

    What I have always appreciated most about them is their dedication to their artistry and to each other. Upon the announcement of this break, a lot of people, just knowing what "hiatus" meant for others and unaccustomed to a group like BTS, assumed it meant their end, despite what BTS themselves said.


    While I can hardly blame them for assuming a scenario they'd seen played out over and over, this hiatus has taught me to trust what BTS promise. We have seen an awesome display of individuals talents and members exploring things they always wanted to do. But even throughout this break, the members have also made it obvious how much they mean to each other and how much each contributes to make BTS so great.


    As for awards and charts - everyone likes to be recognized for their work and BTS work hard for it. I've never understood why it's considered a negative for an artist to want that. But it's a cherry on top of their dedication to their craft. Nothing's changed.

    He said they could have had it all when armys opened the way for them in the US. That there were faster ways to get to the top but they didn’t choose that path. This already shows they do have some respect for themselves and pride in their work.


    Their invasion may have taken a longer time to happen but they definitely feel happier this way

    Many forget that BTS decided to step back and slow down when they were the biggest artists in the world. No one came and snatched their top spot or pushed them down. They stopped because they needed to focus on themselves. Many like to claim BTS peaked but it was BTS who decided to stop and let go at their peak when they knew they could easily release some fan favourite bangers and outpeak themselves.


    They will always have my respect for that cause it is not easy to step away from such heady success. They took a big risk and were honest with the fans. They could have carried on pretending that everything was fine and never said a word but they did not do that. They are honest, hard working and courageous men who are not afraid of failure.

    Is there an army thread here? The mod deleted my thread about Blinks being delusional without any warnings whatsoever. There are 2 online mods rn. One is an army then the other one is a blink.

    What even is a deadzone & where is it? I didn't even broke a rule and they just decided to delete it because I'm 'generalizing' every blinks lol. Some mods just wanted it gone cause truth hurts, i guess 😂 I bet some blinks even asked for it to get taken down.

    It’s called “Dumpster Fires” I think. It’s where they technically leave the thread up, but move it there is a super huge fight that breaks out in it or it’s deemed too controversial. I used to know where it was, but after they moved everything around, I don’t. I hope I find it soon though. Anyone can still read, react and comment in any Dumpster Fire thread, but you can’t edit posts once they get moved there, so whatever you say after that point can’t be taken back or edited out later on. Also, not everyone knows about or visits the Dumpster Fires (because the threads there are labeled as being toxic and you enter at your own risk, so that’s why it’s considered a dead zone. Then again, I’ve seen some pretty active Dumpster Fire threads before, so it’s not a set in stone rule that they always did off so quickly, but they usually do.


    I saw the thread, but never clicked on it, so I’m not 100% sure why it was moved. However, technically the forum has a rule that says you must be kind. Everyone defines that differently though, and what one person considers kind, another might not. Perhaps they might have thought the thread was too mean and that’s why they moved it, even if you thought you were just being honest. I’d ask them about it if you’re curious.

    I guess blinks didn't like that you exposed their fellow "nice" blinks. They been trying to push that "it's only those two trolls" argument for ages but now because of you they can't. You showed everyone on the forum that all blinks are just the same. They put on mask when they post in kpop section, hide behind "trolls" who they pretend they don't want to associate with and bash other groups in anons and other sections.

    Honestly thank you for creating that thread. Because I didn't know such posts existed. Because I don't usually go outside this section.

    I usually search up BTS on akp search bar to check any updates or discussions, so everytime someone drop their name it's showing. It's not the first time some blinks shaded them.
