Which Of My Nugu Faves Do You Prefer?

Hello! So, I stan two nugu girl groups: DreamNote and ILY:1. Which one do you prefer between the two? Why? If you know nothing about either one, I can give you a basic summary of both.

DreamNote: Debuted in November 2018 with their title track of the same name. They used to have eight members, but now only have six. They used to have a cute concept for many years, but with their latest comeback transitioned to a more mature and elegant type of one.

ILY:1 Debuted in April 2022 with Love In Bloom. They have always had six members. In both of their comebacks so far, they have had a cute concept. Four of the members came from Girl Planet.

Everyone seems to like this song from DreamNote a ton, and I can see why.

Most people seem to prefer their debut album song over their comeback.

Dreamnote, they've been around longer so I have more of their discography to judge is partially the reason. Songs like Hakuna Matata and Dream Note are my faves and if I ever do lists for 2018 and 2019 I would have to consider their greatness in high regard. Despite being from a lowish tier company without good ablity to promote well(they were gone forever before Ghost by kpop standards) whoever decides their musical direction in some of their album tracks is genius, like "My Hobby is You" is peak hidden gem as is "Fresh Fresh"

Literally all of the songs you mentioned are musical gold. I love Fresh Fresh too! Wish is high up there for me too, as well as La Isla Bonita.

From the 2 songs you give, I'll lean more on ILY:1 because it sounds izonic.

But since the other mention that DreamNote had a bigger discography and there might be more songs like ghost, I might choose DreamNote then.

I’ve been told that before, and I kind of see it too. Just makes them even better. DreamNote does have a much bigger discography in comparison, but they only recently shifted concepts their last comeback. Ghost is a much different song than they previously did. More than 90% of their songs are cute and happy songs, with only a few exceptions, Ghost being one of them.

Wish supremacy, we need to talk more about it to be honest. Also, I agree! People kept on asking for more cute concepts, and we had them all along, it’s just they didn’t know DreamNote came to serve!
