funny you'd say that when I'm the one calling out the hypocrisy. That user was literally telling us it's more impressive for nj to be this successful upon debut when we all know they would never enjoy this success if they weren't from hybe. aespa's debut was a flop but they were still called privileged.

did you read the op? They feel newjeans’s success is undeserved compared to LESSERAFIM and KEPLER aka 2 groups that are as far from unprivileged as it gets. That user wasn’t calling out big 4/produce privilege that groups from smaller companies don’t have, they were calling out another privileged group that surpassed their privileged faves lmao, so you’re arguing on their behalf about a completely unrelated complaint 😂
Btw aespa’s debut flopping doesn’t mean they weren’t privileged. It just means they failed to capitalize on the hype they got from debut, the privilege was still there lmao. Yall should put your thinking caps on instead of making these inane claims that lack logical thinking skills 😂

Doesn't help they dropped a terrible song and then have been basically MIA since. IVE are coming back before them despite dropping a song 2 months later.
As for OP, don't understand how or why Kep1er "deserve it". Wadada was mid, UP! was fucking horrendous (all that talk rapping is just yikes), they aren't popular, they aren't a top seller, they aren't a top charter. How can someone judge them and go "ROTY" against the competition.

Hybe/Ador made a good move for NewJeans' debut with 3 title tracks. When one song is doing great on charts, it more or less will carry the other two. Because all three songs are new to GP, if they like one song, they will check out the other two as well. And this will overcome the disadvantage of late debut against Le Sserafim in term of digitals.

are you seriously lecturing me on reading comprehension? lmaooo. If you actually bother to read again, you’ll see i never denied that newjeans had big 4 privilege in my first post. Their achievements are still impressive nonetheless bc they’re not the only big 4 group in existence but broke every big 4 gg’s debut records in record time too - that was my point. You replied to me lecturing me on big 4 privilege as if i of all people didn’t know it exists, and then in your next post made it seem like i think only sm or yg groups have privilege while hybe groups don’t, when i NEVER said or implied any of that. So where’s the reading comprehension hmm? Or are you saying your skills are so advanced you could put words in my mouth and invent things out of thin air 😂
