How did bighit become hybe by capitalising on bts?

I mean BTS is the biggest group in the world, it’s not the same when a group is solely popular in Korea.

i mean, bts alone brings in more money than some entire companies with multiple acts. big hit was top sales and top operating profit mostly bc of bts for a few years before the whole hybe thing. this is not a scale that any other kpop group is on

here's how ....bighit made big bucks thanks to bts... so what does bighit do with that money... well instead of using all that money on trainees to create new groups which might not become successful at all and even if they do its gonna take ages to make that money back, so they do the pro-gamer move and gave that money to others, investing it in other's peoples project..aka the acquisition phase.. by doing this not only they make all of their investment back instantly but also secured future means of income.. moreover in this situation even if their investment does not bear profit , they can always squeeze somethin out of people whom they invested in to reciprocate their loses...

BTS literally transcended Kpop, I know people may get mad to hear that but I believe it is true. BTS is a rarity.

I read somewhere they had plans for BTS content and stuff when/if BTS members were going to enlist and to diversify their groups so they aren't as reliant on BTS when it comes to $$$

In addition to the answers above, BTS also has a fandom that is creative, hardworking, ambitious and knowledgable. You may hate to hear this but a major reason BTS is this huge is ARMY. It’s obvious many ARMYs are adults with the know how to strategise and raise

BTS awareness among the masses AND the music industry. Across the globe. And Bighit and BTS gave back ten-fold to ARMY and ARMY gave back ten-fold more. It helps that Bighit was not under the influence of any shareholders at that time, so Bang PD and BTS are not controlled but greedy money hungry people. Sadly with Hybe, it’s not the case now.
