Oh about 50+ countries, which have very skewed opinion on freedom of speech, religion etc., have a tendency to behead people over cartoons, quotes etc.,
I can't even name the common factor of these countries on AKP, else I will be blamed of some -phobia .. a global taboo.
So we all have to pretend that it is "peaceful"
I have trouble with such pretending, so will avoid such countries to the extent possible.
The funny thing is, it is probably only in North Korea, is there freedom to criticize these people, their founder etc. and be unaffected.

btw this has nothing to do with Islamophobia if anybody is concerned. I didn't mention any Middle-East countries for a reason. I just think these places are unsafe for me to travel, especially Pakistan considering I'm an Indian.

The evidence for that behaviour is 1400 years long and still happening in France or most recently in India, where in a TV debate the exact quotes were referred, in response to abuse - causing internal and external backlash, few people who supported the debater's freedom of speech, were targeted by their friends, neighbours and customers - and have been killed.
Anyway, I don't want to expand further on this, that too on AKP.

Are you referring to the "muslim vs hindu" conflicts that are happening in India? If you are, I honestly get why you are refraining to explain who and your reasons. I was also afraid to speak about it online, despite having a lot of thoughts regarding it.

yeah its really bad fr. i have a friend (well, technically two since they're twins) but they're half indian and half pakistani. their dad's never stepped foot in pakistan because he's from india. its the same with another friend i have as well, they've never gone to india because its just so hard for them
