For their Imagine Your Korea campaign they have an AI called Lizzie Yeo who takes you around to all kinds of beautiful places in Korea.

She even has her own Instagram.

But wait a second......

That looks like Irene!

Hmmm....

This Not Irene is very pretty.

To me it looks like they used deepfake technology and used Irene as the base images/videos for the computer to recast her face on an actress.

It looks uncannily like Irene.

There's a lot of legal grey area around deepfake tech. But on principle if they did use Irene as the base it would seem wrong that they can do that without her permission.

This is all assuming that's what they actually did.
