why doesnt ive get the same treatement as aespa?

    they never sing live, they are not particularly charismatic and they have silly choreographies. they are shaping to be one of the top 4th gen ggs and yet they are getting a free pass, unlike aespa, in the contrary they seem to get overwhelming support from the general kpop community.

    if kpop fans care about live singing and stage presence as much as they pretend when it is about aespa, why don't they show the same energy to ive? this ridiculousness got to the point where ive fans themselves are joining the drags against aespa's lipsyncing and stage presence. what lack of self awarness? what double standards?

    Almost every performance after their first week in music show is live.

    Ive have sung live multiple times and have way better stage presence than aespa. Despite not being great dancers, none of them lack energy and they do the choreo better and show more charisma and personality on stage. Aespa doesn’t have much going on for them

    IVE are very charismatic on stage what are you on. NONE of them are “bad performers” objectively—all engaged, expressions and energy-wise. They are probably one of the most cohesive looking girl groups on stage as well, no one sticks out too much in a bad way. Their music is good, and they are continuously trying to improve their talents. They might not have top vocals or rappers but Liz and Yujin are very solid vocalists, and Rei is a good idol rapper. And they may not have standout dancers but no one in the group can’t hold a beat which again, makes them look very cohesive.


    Your guys’ mentality of “needs to be the best” is so weird to me. IVE is talented, charismatic, and has amazing music. Their success is deserved.

    Simple, their fans aren't as insufferable

    in theory aespa is more talented than IVE but IVE actually have much better performances

    Rei is also incredibly stable as a vocal too. Her voice sounds exactly the same in encore stages, she's really good despite not having her vocal on the same level as aespa's.

    ive is from a smaller company. people often side with the less privileged more.

    Not you bashing IVE‘s stage presence when they have two of the best performers (Yujin&Wonyoung) in the group, whilst the rest is very solid, too.


    Also, they sound pretty nice during life performances.

    Lol no the only thing aespa does better than Ive is singing and they don’t even sing lipsync like ever. Everything else is Ive >.

    This sounds like a coping mechanism. aespa wouldn't get any hate if they had better title songs and stage presence. Ive would be forgotten if they had shitty music, even charisma wouldn't be able to save them, just like any other non big4 gg. They have to put effort 2x more to stand out in comparison to privileged ggs that are already expected to do well.


    I am just really tired of mys saying Ive only have fans and support because people love to hate on aespa. Talk about main character syndrome. Then y'all wonder why you get so much hate as a fandom.

    This is exactly one of the main reasons why people like them more than Aespa, because they don't look like robots going through a routine on stage. The worst offender is Winter with her blank static expression, though she has improved slightly recently.

    Why would SM antis and other insecure Big 4 stans go after a non-Big 4 group like IVE?


    IVE are no part of the neverending Big 4 company fanwars, just like Sistar, 4Minute, EXID, I-dle, Mamamoo etc were never part of the fanwars between Big 4 group stans (unless those groups could be used as a weapon to shade one of the Big 4 groups).


    The antis and a number of other Big 4 stans want to break and crush MYs, and the simplest way to do that is focus on dismissing Aespa's strengths and highlight Aespa's supposed weaknesses until more and more people start to believe the fake narratives.


    Other girl groups that have the same 'weaknesses' or are actually worse in those skills are irrelevant when the entire goal is to crush MYs and Aespa's popularity and reputation.

    Because IVE is not a blatant rip off of an already popular group and their fans aren't a bunch of freaks.

    If you stan ive then you have no business speaking about lipsynching. The fact we're already on page 2 and not a single person shared one of these supposed several live performances is telling enough. You all know deep inside that it's a lie and it's easier to uphold it when you speak in general terms instead of actually sharing the performances lol.

    Why would they get the same treatment when they aren't the same lmao? It's only in mys heads that IVE are worse performers than Aespa when anyone with eyes can see that IVE are better at dancing and have better stage presence and have better visuals and music. The only thing that Aespa has over IVE's are their vocals, but who cares when Aespa lip syncs 99.9% of the time anyway?

    You are living in the past. First of all, big4 didn't exist in 2nd gen, only big3. Second, none of these ggs you mentioned were even close to be competition to big3 ggs overall. Meanwhile Ive does have the relevancy in all aspects that make them one of the top gg of their gen - as of now, no rookies are close to reach their stats minus sales, which they are also strong for a gg that only release singles. Even if that happens, it will be between Ive and Newjeans, aespa is out of the discussion as they currently dont have the charting needed.

    The main reason you think we want to "crush" mys and aespa is because you want the world to circle around aespa and mys when it doesn't. So when you get a reality check you take that as offense. Mys are by far the most delusional fandom I ever seen. I am saying this as someone who cares about aespa but sometimes I even get embarrassed to say I stan them so people don't associate me with the obnoxious members of the fandom, which they already do.
