Why do folks give more credibility to IVE's Indonesian Spotify streams than Aespa Chinese sales?

You should list aespa’s album buying countries too so we can see the distribution. Here we can see Indonesia and Japan contributing pretty much similar number of streams so it’s not heavily dependent on just one country. Philippines has nearly similar numbers too.. Looking good IVE..

They're okay with a smaller country to buy 500k albums but not okay with a big country to buy 300k albums cause they say all are from Cbar

So Cbar sales are not sales? Some of them still get the albums like every single fan out there. In fact, i know some Cbar sells the album at cheaper price to Group Order from other countries. My country has some fans ordering from cbar cause it's cheaper but late arrival

Just following this comeback, the amount of "antis" who have a problem with Aespa C-bar sales discrediting chinese fans, meanwhile praising their own c-bar sales prior to Aespa release when it matters to them are some of the things that was most apparent this comeback for Aespa.

Far as am aware a lot of the big groups get massive support from c-bars , they follow the artists everywhere to support whether that's concerts, personal billboard ads, fansigns and they buy a lot. The fact they go out of their own way when their government is actively trying to stop Kpop popularity in China should be praised. Suddenly "bulk buying" or Chinese sales is a problem when it's Aespa, but I didn't see the same energy or negativity around BG's who sale even more albums like hot cakes for few years now or certain big groups.

For me I don't have a problem with SEA streams, end of the day fans are fans, Country they come from shouldn't be a negative or looked down upon and what they bring aka streams or sales. But it's defiantly obvious fans from certain regions are suddenly looked negatively on or "fake" soon as it doesn't fit peoples negative agenda/narrative when it comes to groups they don't like. That or it's just straight xenophobia.

We all have to thank Cbars, SEA etc. They helped our groups gain recognition worldwide.

They both deserve some recognition since it's fans supporting one way or another. To me though streams are many times more relevant to gauge actual popularity, doesn't matter where they come from
