I think we all know that some companies push and favor some idols a lot more, I mean maybe they pay the company more than the rest. Just look at Aespa, did SM give RV the same budget and debut stage decor as Aespa, nope. Did Lisa ever get a nice decent looking dress at an award show....nope, did jennie get a nice dress though it's not mean to say this but like stylists obviously style one idols hair better then the rest or give an idol an extravagant outfit (*cough* *cough* jennie d4 blue and black outfit compared to the other girls forever 21 outfits) anyways theres no point in even obsessing over all of this, cuz there will always be favorites in groups.
I think its obvious companies and stylist have favorites.

didn't the pinks say in their documentary that they have a lot of input in their own outfits

My faves outfits during their tours = hoodie + pants. Simplicity = best

depends on your taste lmao

It’s pretty obvious. Whoever is center of the group has to be the most eye catching
-
I'm more concerned about the hairstylists' favorites and least favorites.

Your argument makes no sense. In bp the stylist clearly let's the girls choose their outfits since the documentary atleast.
Aespa that got clowned for their weird outfits and have been begging to be let on varieties aespa are faves? What?EqEpJ8GVEAAKIo_.jpeg

But their stage outfits were far better than red velvet

But their stage outfits were far better than red velvet
Because Red Velvet's concept is unique. Stylists have always tried crazy and experimental outfits. Also the image of Red Vevet was not stylish and luxurious. Especially in Red concepts. However, in Velvet concepts, their clothes was classy and elegant. It is completely based on the concept. Red Velvet fits the more mature and elegant concept as a group. They were dressed in very weird things during their rookie years but Red Velvet looks cute because they are young girl then.

U can do unique without looking outrageous and ugly even in their elegant concept, Aespa stage outfits are still better. I maintain what I said

When rv debuted they got hated on for their visuals not their outfits. There were no complaints about their outfits. Their stages were cohesive and cute which matched their concept.

When aespa debuted it was the opposite they got hated on for their outfits not their visuals on their debut stage. Every article had minimum one comment saying the girls were pretty but they hated the outfits. Especially the carelessness with lisa and ningning ae outfit got so much unnessary hate towards aespa.

The red velvet debut and aespa debut comparison does not make any sense since both stages are a lot of years apart and only nowadays these big budget stages are very popular. One should rather compare their comeback stages.
Also of course will sm invest a lot of money into a rookie that debuts. Why would they not use any resource to gain fans? Older groups are marketed moreover with the goal to potentially reach new fans but they do not need to found a fanbase like rookies have to and so they tend to market to the current fans.

Now you’re just being biased, I don’t support what op said because it’s bullshit but I will say the truth as it is. Those knetz comments don’t matter because there was a whole post dedicated to praising Aespa styling before the red carpet mayhem, also Aespa got hated on for their visuals so I don’t know what you are trying to say about rv?????

These outfits were far more glamorous and it should be since kpop as evolved, me saying their stage outfits are better is pure facts,

Aespa's style didn't look super cool to me. Because stylist dressed them in a very bright and feminine style, like Winx Club. I prefer Red Velvet's sporty unique style outfits. As the friend above said, Then this time is very different, of course the Rookie group will promo in the best quality way. I think SM is also promoting very well Red Velvet.
