I think I'll stick to the other man idea tho since I wont forget about it. They do know my family is pressuring me to marry a dude so I can wing it if things go awry but hopefully it doesnt come to that.

Either try to discus the situation with him if he brings it up or if he doesn't I think it's okay to just forget about it. Although, I would advise you not to be left alone with him when you go out with your co-workers to avoid similar situations in the future
