When the comeback dates were released, many kpoppies saw it was a done deal, with aespa wiping itzy (and yeah in terms of raw sales, even with itzys respectable showing, thats the case).

But between the not quite amazing reaction to Girls and with knetz in particular seemingly liking what they are seeing from Itzy so far, it doesn't seem like a completely done deal.

Whatever happens, it is nice to see that knetz have started liking Itzy again after last years downturn.

Even if they flop this time they could always bounced back with the right song. Digital charting are heavily dependent on Gp taste. If they like it, the song will chart high and otherwise if they don't, they will chart low. There's no foundation as long as Gp still interested with the group the chances of bouncing back are still there.

With other company maybe, but seeing how is JYP with Itzy and the budget for itzy this last time, i would say is very unlikely. I think JYP is going to abandon Itzy more and more and focus in their new projects. Fucking company

They've actually been in public attention for a while. We aren't aware of everything happening in Korea, as you may think. The Winner has been getting quite popular lately, yet no buzz in here. Similarly Idle and Oh My Girl didn't just come out of nowhere and top charts with Tomboy and Nonstop, it wasn't a climb back, they literally debuted on top. Which is the sign the they've had growing awareness among GP prior release.

You've mentioned JYP and Itzy budget "last time" a few times now. What are you referring to?

20/20 was kind of cheap looking, but it wasn't a major comeback release, just a side project, and LOCO looked expensive as all hell.
