my take, she improves in vocal and rap. Dance well, I haven't seen much improvement, but that's just my opinion.
-
Even if that's true, she still would have to offer something to the group to be able to make it this far lol

At least she's trying now.
Her dancing reminds me of a less severe Tiffany. If her stage presence keeps improving, she can't get away with it.
Imo she slayed the illusion dance practice despite messing up nearly every move. Tons of potential as a performer

I really can't get over this part. She often messes up moves, is out of formation, and out of sync. I can't see her as a good performer till she can dance competently.
Girls Generation had simpler dances compared to Aespa, so I think it's just much more apparent in Aespa's case. Plus they only have four members so it is obvious when one messes up.

I don't think dancing skills are absolutely necessary to be a good performer. Giselle has pretty good musicianship imo
-
I don't think so
She has the vocals and rap, and can speak confidently in three languages. That's where her strength lies. The only thing she lacks a bit is dancing, but that's because she barely had a year of training. She keeps improving each comeback, but people who expect her to be 4th gen main/lead dancer level are just insane.
-
No she got into aespa because she's a fking good speaker and she proves it during the UN speech
she's beautiful
she's a great rapper and singer
she's able to write and produce
and she can speak french, english, japanese and korean
she's a secret weapon of Aespa
I swear some of you are so trigger by giselle, you are questionning her spot in Aespa
meanwhile you are stanning idols who can't sing, produce, write, rap and the only thing they have is a cute face
and some people have the guts to question giselle spot in Aespa, but not their favs spot in their group when they can't even do half of the thing giselle can do
