Have you had a teacher get fired or be forced to resign? If so, what for?

ahhh I'm not sure of the details, but there was a Spanish teacher in my highschool who didn't have the best time teaching. I think I blame mostly the kids themselves because they didn't respect her and listen to her. They just wouldn't take her seriously and just kind of did whatever they wanted in class... Though, idk, she didn't have the strongest teaching methods either... anyways, she didn't return the following year. I'm thinking either she chose to leave of her own volition or maybe students/parents complained about her not being effective in teaching so she could've been asked to leave. I think either are a possibility...

My freshman year of high school... first semester... Algebra 1. 70% of the students (including myself) had failed the course. Our teacher did not return after that semester and we got a new teacher and did much better the second semester.

No but they should have. I had a teacher who bullied me for 3 years in high school and should have been sacked but schools didn't police that sort of thing in the 80's. If he was teaching now and doing it, he would be dismissed.

the fact he's had four divorces so far says everything. he messed up everything and now me + other girls' trajectory of life has completely changed. i used to be a different person. it was years ago but he only got exposed recently. i know he lives a lonely life now though, as he deserves.

That speaks volumes, to be honest. No way he could keep a steady relationship with a twisted mind like his. It’a an amazing thing that he’s finally paying for all of the hurt he’s caused you and others. I also just want to say that even though it may seem difficult at times to heal from all of the trauma, it is very possible. I feel pretty hypocritical for saying that as I still haven’t even outed the person who traumatized me but I know how lost a situation like this can make a person feel.
