Nothing surprising though. BTS are always there in these surveys across ages and genders even when they are taken for all the artists not just groups. I remember in last year's Melon demographic they topped for the 40's and were only behind Lim Young Woong for the 50's when they didn't even release any album. Also have been the only k-pop affiliated artists amongst all the trot artists for 40-60 year olds (men as well as women) in Gallup polls.

It's just kpop fans who don't want to admit the reality to push their narratives. When actually those who are considered "gp" faves are not seen in any of the "above 40" lists....

I know BTS is very popular with ages in the 40s and above. But I was of the assumption that it’s because their female base ratio is pretty big and carrying them

I didn’t expect the male numbers too. That’s some new to me.

I already know BTS songs get a healthy ratio of male to female D8561FE5-33A9-49D7-B7D3-2F14C055B0AE.pngbut I thought the older people get the more disinterested they will be in kpop. Only BTS have this unique scenario. Because even IU being nationwide queen can’t do BTS numbers in the 40s and above age categories

Good to know people in my age bracket of 40-60 like BTS. They cater for all age groups.

Yeah I understand why you would have thought so and many others as well. It's just that I have come across enough stuff to know that BTS & Lim Young Woong have listeners across all ages and genders. More than any other Korean artists.

LYW has young fans?? I think compared to BTS he is more disproportionately shared among age groups. I don’t usually see him for top 10 in younger age categories
