he could but I think he'll take a hiatus it must have taken a toll on his mental health all those people attacking him at once... plus he's sensitive. It's be in his best interest to take a break. But knowing him he probably won't cause he wants to prove to his fans that he's okay to not worry them, or continue but he'll be more silent and exhausted. Poor baby </33 I hope he knows we love him

Yup, I have started to follow Stray Kids only recently but I can still tell that Hyunjin is a bit sensitive, hope he'll be fine soon, he has his members' support so I'm sure that'll boost him

Hiatus for sure. They need to let things settle down. To come in front and to promote with a smile on the face is not a good idea, knowing how much passion people put in when there is a scandal. Chanyeol and Irene's example is the best. Everyone was shocked that Irene came back to her jobs after only 2-3 months, even tho she apologized and settled things down with that girl. CY is now leaving the spotlight for 2 years.
His hiatus would make people forget a little bit about the scandal and also would be taken as the price he has to pay.

But honestly if JYP put him to hiatus for long time i'm affraid that hyunjin case ended like Jay Park. JYP put jaebum hiatus when 2PM comeback with heartbeat and i remember many hottest still waiting him comeback in the next album but in the reality JYP kick him out of group and company
