tbh music producing is not something that easy, Teddy has been in the industry for years and he has worked with lots of artists and made countless hits, he may have burnt out or lost inspiration atp, that being said I don't understand why yg gets blackpink to work with other producers or they can just hire other great producers

Titty is not Beethoven making earth shattering masterpieces. I'm pretty sure it doesn't take a full year to write 4 songs for a group that had more gala appearances than title tracks
Beethoven is someone who is naturally gifted and talented that can be found once in a million but Beethoven is composer and pianist, Teddy is producer, producer has to do lot more work than composer. Its exhausting work. But yeah its more than enough time to write 4 songs. But like who are u to complain for someone not making music? They are doing music not because they have to or owe u music they do it because they like it lol. Instead I would complain for yg for not having multiple in house producers or hiring other producers to work with blackpink. I don't like people underestimating people's job when they like don't know nothing about them, they might even have other important things to do in life.

I literally cannot believe how serious you took my joke that you explained Beethoven to me. I don't give a shit how hard Teddy has it, I don't care if his work is exhausting. I want songs, if they don't want people to ask for music then YG as a whole should drop the idea that BP is a musical entity. Im tired of yall acting like people are entitled when we're literally asking for music which the group should already be doing at their ancient age
and u here complaining about Teddy or underestimating his work won't suddenly make Blackpink has new music either, and its not just today but u occasionally drag him, and even purposedly writing his name wrong, its offending tbh, actually I have thought u're nice user but idk lately everything about u screams edgy

The obvious answer is to build the hype and to milk their careers for all they’re worth. YGE knows BLINKs will buy whatever BP releases regardless of how long it takes. Also, since kpop careers are so short-lived, no sense in forcing their groups to constantly come back when they can just outdo everyone with one release. YGE has always liked the idea of exclusivity with their groups and, back during 2nd gen, it was a big deal when any YG group went on a show or released music because their whole image is meant to make them seem untouchable/inaccessible. It was even more apparent with girl groups (2NE1 and SuPearls, for example).
In the meantime, the careers that the members have are very lucrative and as long as they are signed to YG, YGE is receiving a cut of whatever they’re doing so they’re still making money.
YG is a business and they know there’s no reason to pander to Blinks when Blinks clearly have loyalty to whatever the girls do or don’t do lol
