Yes, I think so. We know for sure that his new music is ready and he was ready to drop it on his birthday month already but had to postpone for whatever reason. Also some weeks ago he was seen shooting smth alone in SK so mayhaps it was for some of his MVs coming. His music is ready, he just needs to drop it and hopefully (considering the whole damn promotion on major US festival) it's gonna be a full proper debut with physicals and availability on all platforms including SK ones. He has an hour for himself, Hope World is not enough to fullfill it all cause some songs aren't even suitable for festivals (like Queen Blue Side) so, yeah, he needs new music and he needs fans to get used to new music to sing with him so he indeed should drop it before hobipalooza maybe a week before or tbh even if he is gonna to release it on Friday 29th it's gonna be enough time. Waiting and praying

Hmm possible. But if he's going to have a real solo debut with things like physical sinlge/album releases, July seems a little tough. I don't think a member will be releasing a solo single or album so soon after BTS' album release. Free mixtape yes, but solo debut? I think it's difficult.
