Mazie Hirono has spoken up about this and is getting attacked for it.
Problem is, a senator from Hawaii cannot make this change if too many people in the country keep electing Republicans.
And she didn't just say this as a response to what happened in Uvalde, but has spoken up about this well before
Also, she was the first Asian-American woman elected to the senate for Hawaii. You might want to reconsider who you call "annoying punk ass senators".

Conclusion:
If you want stricter gun laws, vote for the Democrats. Don't call the senators actually trying to get stricter gun laws names.
I'm not from the US and although I'm happy for them to be recognized more and more, I'd hate to have them involved in politics. Specially because it's not their own country.

This is hilarious. We did vote for democrats. They control every branch of government except the judicial branch. Democrats are weak including Chris Coons and they get lead by the balls by republicans all the time
