Let's say an artist release 40 songs a year.... Every year
I personally think it would be better if they release less music.... Like 10-15 songs a year. That way... They won't go through a writer's block or oversaturation.
Too much of anything isn't good imo. You need to give music some time to MARINATE. Let it settle down and have people enjoy every second without adding more to discography.
However, I do not believe that any artist should push "drought" for too long. It's harmful in the long run.
Too less of anything isn't good as well.
