    RM

    • His career as a rapper started in 2007 in the underground rap scene under many aliases, the most popular was Runch Randa, where he was already receiving praise for his talent at his then young age.
    • In 2009, he auditioned to join Big Deal Squad. Though he failed and admitted to forgetting his lyrics that time, he met the artist Sleepy who introduced him to Bang Si Hyuk.
    • He joined the label in 2010 as the first member of BTS.

    SUGA

    • Before joining BTS in 2010, he was part of the underground group Daegu Hip-Hop crew D-TOWN as a rapper & producer with the alias GLOSS.
    • He auditioned for HIT IT 2 (created by the agency), came 2nd place and signed on as a trainee.
    • He admitted to boldly reconstructing the beat he was given to rap onto while still part of the competition in his mixtape 'AGUST D'
    • Initially he had doubts about joining BTS but was convinced by Bang Si Hyuk to be part of the line-up.
