    JIN

    • Before joining BTS in 2011, he was a university student studying acting.
    • He auditioned as an actor after getting scouted on the street and joined as a trainee.
    • Initially, he had no singing and dancing experience but has since developed them + composing and lyric writing skills
    • As a trainee Jin booked some modeling gigs including for the huge make-up company ETUDE HOUSE and had many MV cameos.

    JUNGKOOK

    • Before joining BTS in 2011, he auditioned for Super Star K3 but did not make it to the final show.
    • He had seven companies offer him a deal but chose Big Hit because he thought "RM was cool"
    • As a trainee he went to the United States to improve his dancing.
    • He participated in some of the groups pre-debut tracks and had a few MV Cameos.

    • Before joining the company later in 2011, he was just a normal student with the dream of pursuing music one day.
    • He auditioned by chance after accompanying a friend who wanted to audition for Big Hit and was the only person who passed.
    • As a trainee, V worked on the Mariah Carey remake with J-Hope, Jimin, and Jungkook that was later released as an MV in October, 2013
    • He has perfect pitch.

    JIMIN

    • Before joining the company in 2012, he was a Busan Arts High School student studying modern dance.
    • His teacher advised him to join an idol company so he audition for Big Hit.
    • Though Jimin also had some prior experience in hip hop dance (notably popping and locking) with the Just Dance Academy in middle school, he said that it was difficult at first to adjust himself to the choreography he had to learn.
    • He trained for the shortest amount of time.
