In my opinion, yes? songs that manage to get recognition and longevity outside the fandom. Take "I'm the best" by 2NE1, I remember it getting referenced in dramas years after it was released since people would recognize it.

aren't kpop idols supposed to be pretty pg, considering they target young teens? It's a bit like the disney channel kids, no? Parents don't like it if their kids listen to people who act like tugs. Additionally, politeness and respect seem to be more ingrained in the culture at least on the surface.

A lot of 2nd gen idols have had several years to invest in real estate and other things, which they have. Also, they have had a lot more time to earn money.
While BTS brings in a lot of money, we don't know how much of it they actually got up until now, we only know they have some shares in big hit. We know the current value of those shares is quite high, but unless they liquidate those shares, those are assets, not cash. So BTS might have more in assets, but I think several second gen groups have more money they can easily access and are more reliable than company assets.

They could go to court and potentially win it, but it has to be either bts or anyone of bighit. Also it always takes a long time to do these things in Germany. I don’t know whether they would do that. It is also very costly.
Hate speech is a part of the German law and can get prosecuted. It could also go through as defamation
Ahn I didn't realise it had to be someone from big hit. In Belgium, there are several anti discrimination associations who could sue, as well as the prosecutors office themselves if they chose to take on this case.

I remember a lot of fights between SME fandoms, YG stans fought a lot with anyone who didn't think yg idols were the most talented and EXO-L had a period when they fought everyone. Currently not invested enough to know what fandoms fight the most, however I haven't heard anything about physical fighting like back in the day so that's progress?

He didn't attack a particular demographic but a music group. It's not against the law.
He compared their rapidly growing success on a global scale to a spreading virus; in other times, it would have been the black plague, or the Spanish flu; but in the times we live right now, Covid-19 is the go to virus for obvious reasons.
Therefore it's on the suer to demonstrate he purposefully established a racially based correlation between BTS (who happens to be Korean) and Covid-19 (which originates from China). It's not impossible to convince a jury with that but I wouldn't bet on it.
karma would be working overtime if he actually got sued. I hope he at least gets put on unpaid leave for a significant time, fired would be better though.
