Isn't it just because this is the last song before Sungjin went into the military? It's a farewell song/film to send him off.

Honestly, this is one of the main reasons why I'm a JYP company stan. Because I know they put their money where it makes a difference. And I've seen them do it since the early days (back in 2012 with the Wonder Girls, missA, 2PM, Joo and Lim Jeong Hee... then pretty much every year, such as 2015 with GOT7, 2016 with Day6, TWICE, Baek A Yeon and 2PM), then this Every Dream Matters initiative in partnership with Make a Wish Korea in 2019, and even NiziU's first project as a team after they finished their survival show was making gifts for hospitalised children under the JYP_EDM project).

If there's one thing I'm happy about, it's that it looks like BigHit / HYBE inherited that ethos too, with their "music and artists for healing" mentality.

Disney company stans fill theme parks, cinemas and now online video streaming services every year. Even if they release radically different franchises, princesses and superheroes.
But seriously, I think partly why some Kpop fans don't understand company stans yet is simply because the idols they are stanning are too young yet to found their own companies. Barring a few. Like, I wonder if GOT7 stans who are so critical of companies when it involves JYPE would extend the same criticism to Team Wang, the company that their member Jackson founded. Or if JB gets around to starting his own studio, would they still say "all companies and CEOs are evil"? Or EXO fans and Chanyeol's studio. Or Kang Daniel fans and his studio. Or Zico or Ravi and their studios. Or 2NE1's Minzy and her new studio (with the CEO being her dad). Companies and CEOs are only evil until your idol founds and becomes one. Then you may need to rethink things. Will you suddenly stop being a fan of your idol because now they are a CEO and "anyone who is a fan of a CEO is a disgusting company stan"? Or would you actually get interested in how your idol tackles this new challenge of business?

Are you sure you've watched them all? What about the ones when he was still an artist under Cheil Communications (now Samsung Music) and not his own company?

I loved the way they blended the vocals in this song. Hats off to Kobukuro and the mixers for doing a great job at harmonising all the sounds together.

yes we could :)
Since you tend to like discussions about lyrics, here's an interesting video to watch:

Lyrically, Feel Special is way better. I also find it more interesting as a stylistic experiment, because it's a ballad set to a dance-pop track. I wish one day TWICE would release a full-ballad acoustic version of Feel Special, somewhat similar to what JYP did here. Or for someone to do a full acapella cover with rich vocal harmonies (rather than solos or unisons) to bring out the beauty of this song more. I mean, we got a little taste of it with Dahyun's piano cover and the opening segment of the 2019 MAMA R&B version, but the full song performed at half-speed (maybe a jazz or choral arrangement) with a full vocal choir or an acapella group like Pentatonix would be heavenly. Forget the dance part. I mean, the dance part of Feel Special is excellent, but I'm really longing for a good multi-voice vocal cover of Feel Special.

Not the nizi project they are a Japanese girl group jyp said he was deciding between a American girl group and a Japanese boy group but will ultimately do both so I was wondering if there was any news
Ah, I see. Yeah... no news about them yet, as far as I know. I guess he just decided to go ahead with the Japanese boys group first. Especially considering the state of the coronavirus situation in Japan vs. the U.S.
-
Wait what’s happening with his female girl group did he decide not to do it or is he just waiting for a while
Huh? Which girl group do you mean? Are you talking about NiziU? (I.e. the girl group that was formed out of the first Nizi Project?) They debuted already late last year. Shot to #1 on the Oricon charts with both their pre-debut song and their debut song. About to start promoting another comeback in Japan fairly soon, once they complete the Covid quarantine for international travel.
First public announcement that JYP Ent was planning a Japanese girl group was in Jul 2018, press conference to launch Nizi Project auditions was in Feb 2019, Nizi Project auditions and training ran from Jul 2019-May 2020, NiziU debuted Dec 2020.

The LOUD group really is more of a replacement for Day6, since the leader should be entering military service sometime this year, and possibly most of the rest in the next year... which is probably when the LOUD group will debut. Div. 4 will have plenty of staff available to handle them.
Also, keep in mind that it would still take quite a while before the Nizi Project male season is launched. I mean, JYP publicly announced the plans for the Japanese girl group nearly 2 years in advance at the JYP 2.0 presentation, and even when he launched the start of the Nizi Project at the press conference, it still took about a year and a half of auditions and training before they actually debuted. So even if he does launch the recruitment immediately (which is unlikely), it would still probably be minimum 2 years before we see this Japanese male group debut on stage.
The only thing is that if this Japanese male group launches, we will probably see a reshuffling of artists under the different divisions. But there are multiple factors to consider in two years' time, since TWICE, Day6 and maybe 2PM's contracts would be due for renewal around then.
Frankly, it just makes good business sense to capitalise on the remarkable popularity and branding of the Nizi Project, before too much of its' hype has faded. The Produce series created four groups in a row, debuting one year after the other. Two years is probably a reasonable time gap between the female and male versions, given the coronavirus conditions. Though maybe once the vaccine is properly distributed in both Japan and Korea, they can go into higher levels of activity.
EDIT: But it will probably be a harder fight for the male group than the female group, because quarantine and work-from-home conditions would be different, leading to possibly less of an audience being able to stay at home and watch the audition show. (Though they might move it into a bigger primetime slot now that the first show did so well). And also, they would have to challenge Johnny's boy groups in Japan, which is tough. But maybe by that time Stray Kids would have developed enough of a Japanese fanbase to have a similar senpai effect for this new group that TWICE had for NiziU.

wow, KTL is longest charting BP song, 81 weeks, who would have known that? lol many fans claim it as worst BP song.
In the top 200? Yeah I think so. Not top 100.
Yeah, sorry, I made a careless data entry error there. The actual number of weeks is 26, not 81. (81 was the last position it held on the chart before dropping to the bottom.) Darn, that threw off all my calculation of averages too... I've edited my earlier post and recalculated the averages.
Thanks for bringing it to my attention!

Finally finished compiling the chart showing BLACKPINK's charting performance on the GAON Digital Top 100:
BLACKPINK Singles charting 19-Feb-2021.png
This chart shows you how long a song stayed on the GAON Digital Top 100 chart. (Note that this only tracks digital performance - streams, downloads, etc., not physical album sales.) The solid lines are for title tracks of albums / EPs with new songs, the dashed lines are for B-sides. (I did not include B-side tracks, like Kick It, that only appeared once on the Top 100, as that would just clutter up the chart with insignificant data)
Note: For those who may not know or who may be confused between GAON and Melon, GAON is the official record chart for the music industry of Korea. Melon is just one of the digital streaming platforms in Korea, albeit the most popular one. A good analogy would be GAON = Billboard, while Melon = Spotify. GAON combines data from all the major Korean digital music platforms, including Melon, Flo, Genie, Bugs, Naver, Kakao Music, etc.
Some interesting statistics:
Song No. of weeks on Top 100 chart Boombayah 19 Whistle 32 Playing With Fire 51 Stay 7 As If It's Your Last 67 Ddu-Du Ddu-Du 50 Forever Young 36 Really 5 See U Later 4 Kill This Love 26 Don't Know What to Do 10 How You Like That 34 (ongoing) Ice Cream (with Selena Gomes) 15 Lovesick Girls 20 (ongoing) Bet You Wanna (feat. Cardi. B.) 6 Pretty Savage 11 Average of all Tracks that charted in the GAON Digital Top 100 = 24.21 weeks on Top 100 chart *
Average of all Title Tracks that charted in the GAON Digital Top 100 = 33.37 weeks on Top 100 chart*
* note that these two figures do not include the numbers for How You Like That and Lovesick Girls, as they are still ongoing.
Some interesting things I spotted:
- Playing with Fire actually lasted longer on the Top 100 than D4 did, by one week. Although clearly D4 charted better overall.
- At first, I thought a good pattern that I spotted was that the release of a new album / EP title track would cause previous tracks that were still charting to experience a massive bump. This happened with PWF when AIIYL was released, and again with AIIYL when D4 was released. However, the pattern appeared to be broken when KTL was released. There was no noticeable increase in D4's charting performance, and it continued to slide. I don't know how to explain that.
- Forever Young and Stay are very interesting opposites. Forever Young is a B-side that charted really more like a title track, while Stay was a title track that charted more like a B-side. I have a sneaking suspicion this could be due to music show promotions, but I don't know enough about how much Stay was promoted relative to Forever Young that might explain this difference. Anyone have any ideas?

Is there update?
Interested to see how is ICSM performing
It might have missed top10 but it is stabilising on top50
Well, it's only been a couple of weeks (two data points) since my last update, but sure... here's the latest chart as of 19 Feb 2021.
TWICE Singles Charting 19-Feb-2021.png
We can see that ICSM has definitely surpassed More and More and is in Feel Special / Signal territory now.

Huh... I'm so used to her variety personality that I sometimes forget that Seo In Young is a pretty good singer. Even though I knew she was in Jewelry, I never paid much attention to their songs beyond 'Baby One More Time'. Didn't know she went solo, but this was good. She signed with Stone Music? Do you know if she's still releasing stuff nowadays?

From the picture, I see Jeongyeon as more like an evil mafia / gangster boss. (a.k.a. 'The Godmother'). The one who will order some of her minions to gun down people in the streets that are interfering with her protection racket, while she sips martinis in her villa and chats with the corrupt police chief that she owns.

Chaeyoung of TWICE. Singing, dancing, rapping, poetry, songwriting, painting, fashion and accessory design, sports, vlogging, voiceover narration, counselling... the girl can do everything.
-
Depends on what you think the group's shelf life is, I suppose. Keep in mind that SNSD's first sub-unit (TTS) was only formed in their 6th year, and Taeyeon only had her solo debut after 8 years. CL of 2NE1 only had her solo debut in her 6th year. Similarly, Ye Eun, Yubin and Sunmi of the Wonder Girls had solo debuts in their 6th year after the Wonder Girls' debut. TWICE is in their 6th year now, and we're starting to see more solo and unit efforts. (Though technically, there have always been small solo projects throughout TWICE career - like Jihyo's 5-song solo mini-concert in their third year - it just gets drowned out by the international fans' passionate-but-misinformed narrative of "pity-our-poor-girls-whose-company-doesn't-give-them-opportunities")

Lee Hyori's solo debut "10 minutes" (2003)
