oh my
I will keep looking respectfully
Now I'm a little sad he's married
Display MoreNah you seem plenty knowledgable on SKZ’s rapping, thanks sm for your insight! Stray Kids really do seem like they have one of the greatest raplines among Kpop idol groups overall and tbh I’ve always thought that, I guess I really meant going by most online opinions it seems like Changbin is the best by far in Stray Kids w/little disagreement on the matter? Sorry if I mis-worded it a little. Good to know the rapping talent there extends even past the rapline in Stray Kids!
I’ve heard other people mention Hyunjin’s rapping ability before too, I already knew he’s an amazing dancer from his Studio Choom video, and combined with his god-like visuals isn’t that basically unfair to have all in one person?
Btw can I take your post as 3 votes, 1 each for:
1. Changbin
2. Han
3. Hyunjin ?
I read that too about Changbin but I wonder if people are simply impressed by how fast he raps? Which is certainly an aspect. But the main criticism I've read about Kpop rapping is that it's all about pace and very little about the quality of writing, the flow, the enunciation and maybe more aspects I don't remember now. He certainly is at the top though, regardless of details.
I'll try giving my votes just based on the rappers I know, no particular order:
1. I enjoy J-hope's verses a lot, also what he does solo
2. RM, because I love love love his collabs with Balming Tiger and MFBTY
3. Suga, no words, he never fails to impress
3. Changbin
4. Han to include my "overlooked" (not really, he's clearly well-loved) bias hehe
It really is unfair how talented Hyunjin is I won't include him since he doesn't write his raps, but who knows maybe he'll be a force to reckon with in the future! If I'm not mistaken, he got more rap verses in the last few comebacks, maybe it's something he wants to venture in. That would be interesting.
Also, honorable mention to Jungkook, because when he did RM's part in Ddaeng for the vocal line performance, that was impressive. As well as his verses in their earlier music. I'm holding out for a Jungkook hip-hop song. Hopefully we'll get it one day. He said he wants to try every genre, so I'm holding him to it
I rambled too much. I should look more into K-hiphop rappers, there is a lot of talent out there!
HwaGoose and Seonghwa when he told them not to worry about that ostrich:

I don't know your pronouns so I went with them to be safe :)
I didn't see your thread! I guess people were too busy fighting and it clogged up the front page
Technically not a comeback meme (wootteo is making a comeback though), but me looking at my gallery full of Jungkook photos:

The court probably finalized all documents today for the decision and will likely announce the ruling early tomorrow in Korea. Will then be less than a day left for both parties to prepare for the general shareholder meeting. Though I imagine each party has already drafted their statements for the different outcomes of the injunction.
Oh no lol I was typing and then saw your post after I was done posting
It's 8PM in Korea, so I doubt we will get a verdict regarding the injunction today, right? That leaves one more day before the big meeting.
Will it just go ahead if the court can't meet the deadline to rule on the injunction? What if she wins but already got dismissed on the 31st?
I'm confident the court will have gotten it done by then though.
I always thought the Stray Kids rapline is really good but don't know much about the individual members, but I heard Changbin is doing the hardcarrying there, so I will definitely have to check out more from Changbin since everybody in this thread keeps mentioning him~
I'm pulling from very limited knowledge, so I didn't think I could contribute anything meaningful to the thread but I can say something to this
I would also put Changbin on my list but I wouldn't underestimate the other members. Han writes well in my opinion and is a close second. I think he gets forgotten a bit, because he is also a good vocalist and Changbin's faster delivery overshadows him. And while he may not count as a rapper since he doesn't write (he has credits on mostly vocal tracks), I think Hyunjin has a good delivery in the rap verses he gets allocated. It's not all about pace after all. All that to say, I don't mean it as in they have to make anyone's Top 10, but within the group Stray Kids, I would give the other members a chance.
The Kiss of Life girls are racking up the collabs! There is another one coming up between Julie and Nayeon if I remember correctly.
i wanted to listen to it but it's not available in my country. i wanted to give them organic stream but i was denied of that opportunity lol
What is up with that song?! lol unavailable on Spotify and I could only find a guitar tutorial on youtube. It must be buried somewhere between the completely unrelated videos
I'm still fairly new and honestly don't know much about EXO. I like a few songs, but it's the soloists that really grabbed my attention. Love everything Lay puts out, I came in with Rover and can't wait for more music by Kai when he returns, and Chen's first Japanese mini album has had a chokehold on me (especially Free World). So, I was happy when this popped up in my release tab and it's so good! He has such a soothing voice. I can't pick a favorite yet but Fall In Love Again stood out to me.
I'm glad Wootteo wasn't just launched for the Astronaut and then thrown to the side. Coldplay kept the character alive and now it's making a full comeback. I wonder what else will be done with it!
That would be so cute. The return should be a day of celebration, pulling out all the stops is appropriate
So many gorgeous shots! Especially the one where she's standing at the railing and the water is splashing up behind her.
I've watched bl dramas in every language and I have to say that THAI just annoys me. Idk what it is, but it's like my least favorite, then chinese, then korean, then japanese, my favorite is Cantonese. I just love Cantonese....not because i'm obsessed with mirror or anything.... >.>
i think this song makes me sad by him

That one was also hard hitting!
I zoned out a bit during the second half of the album, I'll have to go back to it. But overall it's a hit!
At first, I couldn't stand Chinese. It took me some time to get used to, but now I absolutely love Lay's discography and I appreciate the difference in pronunciation. I can't say I'm able to identify Cantonese yet, I need to listen more carefully. It took me some time with Japanese and Korean too, even though the differences are obvious to me now.
I'm not sure if this one was also one of your suggestions but I liked ooh! by PP Krit and saw the MV for the first time earlier. Oh my, not what I expected but it was great. I'll have to check out the rest of his music.
Too much to discover, too little time
This song just came on and I might cry
And Highway was really good! I'm curious about the English versions. I definitely had to get used to Thai as well but I quite like it now.
