so far i'm indifferent to that group's debut. which is a first for a sm gg! the market's so oversaturated and that's kind of annoying, so much that i just wanna focus on my barely debuted faves and 2 or 3 others great or rising groups. too much is too much. it feels like new groups are debuting every month and you just end up in a state of confusion at this point.
firstly, there are too many members and only two or three barely stood out. and secondly, if their creative director was smart, they would try to be the SNSD/Twice/early Ive typa concept driven gg with some twist.
now even ive are doing the same uninspired soulless quirky artsy emo schoolgirl concept. enough!
couldn't agree more. LSM may have laid the groundwork for SM but it was MHJ who had the vision. fx, red velvet, super junior, exo, snsd, shinee, nct all bear the marks of her influence. Obviously SM’s success wasn’t solely her doing, but it wouldn’t have reached the same heights, being the powerhouse that they are without her that's for certain.

Many of SM groups were a sorta collaboration between MHJ, LSM mostly but also the sm staff. Except Shinee and fx who were MHJs creative children. And then Red Velvet as well. But she couldn’t be as experimental as she wanted with them. Fx was her real baby and Pink Tape her ultimate masterpiece.
