What a lame thing to have fandom wars over.

I preferred the other group members solos to UP and Air stayed in my head way more the UP so Air it is.

Young idols are easy to control, easy to mold into the perfect idol, and the vast majority of public loves them young 🤢. I don't think the phenomen is going away.

Is a judge actually listening to two parties arguing over whether an unrelated kpop group bowed or not? There's like literally miles upon miles of words by stans and antis discussing bowing in 2025. Insane.

This reminds me of XG.

I think promotion is the way to go. First impressions are so so important for GGs and if they can afford to promote then they need to plaster the girls everywhere. GP is very easily swayed if the promotion is done correctly.

Visuals are ridiculously important in kpop so I get why they're being picked apart. Even stray kids had the same issue but the ones being criticised were the talent and the visuals eventually evolved into being extremely popular.
I do worry that JYP has not done a good job pushing their talent in their recent groups. A lot of companies overinflate their popular members with ott pr and push them everywhere but JYP does not do that aggressively. They probably save money but the overall growth of their groups weaken.

Why would she be stupid enough to leave her home base to go abroad where she's just a small fish. Even among her groups members she's not the most popular internationally.
Korea is her domain and she can take over it if she's strategic. By concentrating her efforts in Korea she's being strategic and smart.

I don't know much about the domestic music industry and the taste of music, but western/international music are bigger these days compared to earlier?
And also, I feel it's a bit fewer "catchy" songs these days, songs that easy can become hits among the general public. Songs like Gee, I don't Care and Oh! for example. Groups like Babymonster have few really catchy ones, even if they have good songs. and NJs type of songs are not that kind of songs that are "national hits" material either.
Western music has also gone down significantly. Streaming has killed the buying impact. Taylor is the only one selling albums properly otherwise no one else is.

Literally everything depends on the music. They created a trend on debut and they have to do the same the second time around.

I honestly thought they would be doing mature jazz as their next sound. Let's see.

They get huge huge crowds so it's impossible to just dismiss kpop idols at international events.
Le gala des pièces jaunes technicians acknowledged the power of kpop when they realised the decibel reading for the audience was louder then the sound system during the stray kids performance last year.
