IVE can do fine with lip-syncing to an overly loud backtrack but they could never pull off a performance like NewJeans did at Lolla with their MICS ON!

IVE only has one competent singer (Liz) and the rest are mediocre E-F grade singers that can barely hold a note. That’s why they lip sync while sitting down

They’re also not great dancers or performers either whereas NewJeans has proved their vocal skills and performance skills many times.

IVE are carried by these loud and over the top songs. But sure, we’ll say IVE wins

Aespa’s lack of stage presence is quite frankly unacceptable. They barely have any energy…they can be lazy, sluggish and have awkward movements. Monotonous facial expressions and outright don’t even have synergy together on stage together.

They look bored and are literally carried by their concept. It’s so bad.

Aespa’s vocals are amazing though and they’re at the top for this in particular (maybe only NMIXX can challenge them)

Meanwhile NewJeans is at the top along with some other girlgroups like Itzy, Kep1er and Le Sserafim when it comes to stage presence. Although I’d argue that Kep1er and Itzy may be better at this point.

Great live vocals, great energy and chemistry together on stage, charisma, great facial expressions (especially Hanni) and they really know how to hype up a crowd.

Another super important factor is that they are good across the board! Every member has fantastic stage presence and performance.

Some groups have super strong members and then others who sometimes fall weak and are inconsistent (like GIDLE and Blackpink)

Their confidence in the Lollapalooza performance was astounding for such a new group. I only hope they can maintain and keep working to get even better.

Good to see it. MNET is a disgusting company that has ruined lives. Would love to see them go under, no one cares about your 99th rigged reality show.

In China, I don't know that they substantially care about either in relation to aespa who beats them both because China listeners are very loyal to SM.
