It actually is! I think it is mostly because the people in here are always ready to help. Just recently, a taxi driver who was passing by, stopped to ask me if the drunk dude nearby was bothering me. The drunk guy, meanwhile, was minding his own business.
So yeah, it is pretty safe, I think.

They just arent so big... They dont have popularity outside of the fandom AT ALL and even their fandom isnt among the biggest out there.
They got some popularity with years, but it is mostly bc they almost dont have competition, besides BTS and SVT. They got so many fans bc X1 disbanded and bc EXO isnt active, more than half of their fans are it bc of those 2 reasons. SM is promoting them so hard, they use every opportunity to promote them, even the whole SuperM thing/group. And they still dont have some huge results. If a group from big 3 with so much effort dont become huge, it is automatically a fail for some people.
Ummmm......the fandom isn't among the biggest out there? NCT literally always come right after BTS and BP (who have like really, really huge fandoms).
Also, they don't have huge results? Make a Wish being the top 16th mv with the highest views in the first 24 hours in all of kpop, in a list with only digital monsters BTS , BP and Twice (plus one gidle and aespa mv) is not huge? NCT Dream making the 21 under 21 list for 3 years in a row is not huge? Also other kpop idols have probably performed Kick It more than 127 themselves, which is something to say. Resonance preorders were the same as or even more than that of Blackpink's much awaited full album.
Also, SuperM is their own group who promote their songs and albums. They were created to promote in the US, not to promote NCT.
