Do you think BB will "take" BTS' crown once they comeback?
A lot of people seem sure of BB coming back with a massive hit but I'm not too sure if that's true. I feel like their reputation has been tainted for good and the public is over giving them and YG second chances. I think G-Dragon is the only member that could make a successful comeback and that's only because Knetz can't deny his impact anymore.
What do you think?

I was also kind of hoping that Smngg would be the snsd successor. But I like Æspa the way they are.
I think YG should definitely take advantage of the fact that we’re missing a prominent cute girl group in kpop like what snsd and twice were for their generations. The spot for that type of group is empty rn so we’ll see who takes it first.
Definitely. They should "pull a Blackpink" but for a cute group. It would also be guaranteed success for them because, for some reason, I can't see a girl crush group going well for them either. Even though, they are known for that.
JYP was smart when he decided to debut ITZY with a teen crush concept. Now, they are the leaders of all the other "teen crush" groups in the 4th generation.

I'm going to be honest. Most blackpink stans (especially, the ones that follow them on Instagram) only care about the girls' for their aesthetic. It's probably a big reason why Lisa doesn't even bother to write any captions on her post.
I saw a few older blinks' acknowledge Blackpink for their speech about global warming but for the majority of them (the young ones), they only cared about how pretty Jennie looked in the video etc.
Blackpink just doesn't have that image that translates to influence in important topics. I blame YG for that.

I have hope for YG's new gg to be something unexpected (ie: a 9 membered cute girl group) since SM debuted a girl crush group this time around. It would be funny to see them "switch images" when it comes to the 4th generation.
I feel like cute concepts are dead and a big group won't happen anymore because of the western promo wave. Unless it comes from a survival show (like produce 101/48) because they are always targeted to Asia only, imo.
I think SMNGG was the last hope for a cute concept revival and they debuted Aespa instead. I'm not complaining, though lol. I have always preferred girl crush.

He manages Demi Lovato and a few other people currently. He managed Madison Beer and Carly Rae Jepsen in the past. He seems to be only good at marketing people that came to him with built-in fanbases, though eg: Justin's og fans from Youtube and Ariana's fans from Victorious. Which I don't think CL has anymore.
He probably owns a few songs of hers (maybe from YG as well) so she has to sign back to him.

I actually agree. It seems like she's just a "socialite/influencer" now. It might be YG/TBL's fault because they love putting their female idols on hiatus so they can make them money through brand deals, but I feel like Somi's passion for being an idol isn't there anymore.
I don't know her in real life, obviously but I feel like even though she said that she wanted more creative freedom, she isn't really showing that she wants to be a serious artist.

Somi - I loved her aura when she was with JYP and I was so excited to see her debut in a group. But, now she's under YG's company, her whole persona has changed and the public doesn't seem that interested in her anymore. Probably because of the same reason that I have.
Now, I just like her as a person because her idol career has been disappointing.
I know that she said that she always wanted to be under YG but sometimes things just aren't meant to be and I don't think she was meant to be a YG idol...
