ETA got me boucing and smiling and it just gets me so happy and exited and the chorus is just STUCK in my head.
Cool with you is the special song for me, can hardly explain why i lpve it so much.
Super shy is last because it had the last impact on me and is a bit to "commercial" lol but it's a great summer bop either way! And a very pertinent choice in their carrier.

A grower bop! It seems to be NJs trademark at this point.
I think their music is freaking great, but its rather minimalistic and melodies or chorus are on the subtle side but once they get into you you just can't forget them. And since the hook is not too intense the replay value is almost endless alongside the freshness of the produciton.
Also the music quality is on an unheard level for a kpop or even a pop group, it's actually crazy.
Ps: the mv and the cinemoatograpphy is soo good 
(again another NJ trademark) and the girls look and sound etheral 
ikr. I think it's the best song among all the songs released until now for the album. But I know this is a very unpopular opinion.
It could have been or at last very tight up with ETA IF it was a full song.
Right now i think Eta is their best song. A total bop right along Attention and Cookie just below Hype boy. But Hype boy is an exeptional song.
Well then maybe Min Hee Jin is actually telling the truth when she says Hybe has no hand in NJ's trajectory and NJ's successes ( and apparently failures as y'all seem to think this reflects badly on them) are down to her decisions. She's been saying this for awhile now - that she has full creative control, yet no one believes her, least of all Tokkis like you apparently.
Maybe y'all should be go take it out on her then. She coulda checked with BPD yadda yadda

And about the threatening part some people talk about well yes of course i do feel threatened, not because i have inferiority complex or anything or because im greedy but because i don’t think it's very fair to put such a big already pretty much established act against a rookie gg.
Any achievement NJ is making is essential because they are just rookies still and are building up their name. But if they go dorectly against JK or BTS then it's like taking that spotlight away from them (even just on a global level) regarless to which extent. And that's kinda either dumb or very annoying and i don’t get the descion because it's more in hybes interest to make it's biggest names shine as bright as they can.

Yes i agree with you, it's not like dramatic, it's okay; but it's the thought process and the marketing strategy i didn't understand. It just feels kinda wierd to me... but i might just be overthinking 
New Jeans is not special in that regard when BTS member vs BTS member has been happening two weeks apart from each other back to back. Again BTS has their plans and Ador has their plans. They are not canceling their plans because of what Bluebird from Minnesota has to say. Who knew one single that Jungkook is not even promoting in South Korea at this time would make you so insecure?? That is not Jungkook's fault
And again you can't answer why you didn't feel the same way about TXT who released on the same day as New Jeans? Wouldn't your weird delusional take of Bang PD directly sabotaging New Jeans also apply?
it only matters because it's JK or maybe V but TXT too to some extent. Like how is it hard to put at last 2 weeks between each artistes release 
BTS schedule has been decided since long time ago. Jungkook said he will be debuting after Suga before NewJeans even existed. Jungkook said he will be releasing 3 singles leading up to his album before BigHit became HYBE. They are not just another artists. They have their plans set till 2025 and probably even beyond.
It is stupid to say BTS or members should have changed their plans rather than these other HYBE groups.
even if the said schedule was so tight (which i doubt), reporting it for 2 weeks wouldn't have been the end of the world when BTS is already an established artist and NJ are just a year old rookies. (from a business perspectives)
Um I don't think you understand how this work, unless BTS members are releasing songs related to their anniversary, they also don't release anything. The self-entitlement to think a whole month needs to be designated for your favs only omg. You didn't care one bit about TXT coming back on the same day as New Jeans, I wonder why

Putting major acts straight against each other is just dumb or very strange marketing strategy specially a rookie and a long awaited global artist debut. One's success could overshadow the other or vice versa when they could have shine brighter if not put directly against each other.
It's not dramatic per say, it's fine but i'm actually wondering what's going on in BPDs mind. Is he scared or jealous of NJs sucess? (in comparaison to Ssera) Is it a ego battle? Is Hybe not gonna go on full support mode for NJ anymore? Or i'm just overthinking things?
I would bring back up that July CB thread but let me address this first before I go searching for it. June was not free. Especially not for Hybe. BTS made Hybe. BTS gets center focus and attention for FESTA which is their anniversary celebration but this year it was more extravagant than it has ever been. Seoul City government basically made June BTS month. Any Hybe artist promoting then would have gotten their comeback overshadowed by BTS.
Great even better. It would have been the perfect time for JK's debut.
July makes more sense for NJ since it's their first year anniversary.
Obviously to not take the spotlight so each can shine without competing togheter.
NJ is barely a year rookie and is trying to build a global carrier and JK debut was long long awaited. Why put them against eaxh other??

the concept is perfect, the song is perfect, the mv is perfect, the song is addictive the verses are brilliant and the chorus is a banger! Now it being a minute and some song and Not being a title track is a damn freaking CRIME!!
Super shy is a good song ( but a bit forgetable i guess good for tik tok) but Newjeans could have been a really really good song.
