Namjoon is rightfully so to be irritated with the situation coming after the dinner party and I believe those highers up in HYBE also pressured him. But imo the one should be blamed no other than HYBE it self in handling the issue with local and intl media. The emotional breakdown of fandom was very normal and I believe the fandom reaction is the least of HYBE's worries. HYBE is clearly just so afraid of the impact on their stock price, but from the shareholders' pov's its very understandable they worried of loosing money. "hiatus" and "temporary break" have common understanding in terms of "no activities" for BTS as a Music Group, and I think no one should underestimate the power of BTS as a Music Group in generating revenue. BTS as music group is much more powerful compared to the power of one of their member, who ever it is. But if you combined the revenue from each solo's activities I'm sure HYBE still will gain more (I guess HYBE already calculated this before allowing BTS to take a break as a GROUP). In business communication with their shareholders, HYBE should point it this out instead of complaining about "mistranslations" and sending emails to Bighit's staffs.

Geeez kpopies already start claiming their favs to replace BTS position. I guess I'll leave this forum too, after all the proof promotion completed

i know people in here are so used to defend with tooth and nail every single decision made by bh, but this one right here, is the most stupid and most transparent money grab move bh has made in… forever.
ive spent the last few weeks defending this album and the decision making behind it, people who know me can vouch for that.
but this right here? it doesn't have any type of excuse.
you want a hidden track? or two? or 3? go for it. now, 12 CD only tracks? that wont only just alienate those who CANT afford the album, but also will fill the pockets of those who illegally make money off their music and had been doing so for years (you know, those we curse and try to get suspended, those we are now celebrating as using as a PROPER tool for support)
this right here, feels like a slap in the face.
(not to mention how by taking this away from streaming platforms, theyre invalidating its status as an anthology, and reducing it to a simple recompilation album with only 3 new songs, go figures)
simple as that.
ans to anyone who defends it well… you know❤️
People defend because of the accusations. Since when streaming platform become a must for included into anthology category? BTS gives an offer, you and every other ARMYs free to take the offer or decline, no one force you. Just don't judge people who loves the offer.

The long awaited comeback of BTS has been finally announced, and I am so excited for it.
I started being a fan of BTS’s music in 2015 and became a full-fledged army in 2016. The Most Beautiful Moment in life Pt. 2 was my first comeback experience from BTS, and “We are Bulletproof” will be my 14th. As an army of 7 years, I have so many emotions running through right now especially because of the concept of the new album.
Overall I just hope for a happy and peaceful comeback where fans share their love and appreciation for the songs and BTS themselves.
This new album will focus on BTS and their journey of these 9 years. From the teaser, it looks like they are reminiscing their past. I will also be going on that journey by listening to their discography from the beginning again and re-experience my love for them!!External Content youtu.beContent embedded from external sources will not be displayed without your consent.Through the activation of external content, you agree that personal data may be transferred to third party platforms. I think MOST 7 is the one that focus on BTS journey of 7 years. I guess the coming album would be a new chapter of BTS, that intrigue me a lot.

My bet: 7 M would be the final sales not the pre-order

Congrats BTS... for 7 nominations and for rock song category

Most fans of those groups fighting left and right like crazy to convince themselves and others that their favs is the best group

Honestly, as kpop fan for 11yrs now, I was surprised to see a group with this amount of hits (the longevity and the reach!). Like even alot of their b-sides are known by fans, locals and anti kpoppies alike lol (even the damn lyrics). And they rule both locally and globally and both streams and sales too!! I guess it also speaks strongly about their music and how they are as artists - that despite the varied genres- people still appreciate and support them.
Lol suddenly remembered when I becaame an army in 2017, the nasties on here mocking the boys saying they have no hits and will not amount to anything
BTS is a group with 7 equally talented members.... it's not a surprise at all they got so many hits. Though I never dived into any other kpop groups, I just believe there is no other kpop group with so many members having the same level of talent yet so unique like BTS, and more than that they all genuinely love their crafts

Maybe they're not discipline enough in their "self-quarantine", and exposed to someone with the virus

100% deserved. They are the real artists.

They should be pocketing $10m atleast.
We still don't know the numbers of PTD ON STAGE online concert.
Today's 4th day sold around 600k tickets. Imagine what that first online one did. I am guessing around 1m tickets. If it did 1m tickets then around $50m from that online concert.
I thought they'll release the numbers of both online n offline one after this offline concert but I guess HYBE is still counting money BTS have generated in less than a month.
But they still have to pay 40% TAX income to KR Gov.
