Dude such things are not to be speculated .
This.
Somebody could reading parts of this thread and take what was written as true (missing the first part saying it’s for fun and clowning) and it will spread from there.

That’s the thing, though. The Big 3 artists and BH group (BTS and TXT) are not affected, and these are the groups that have been doing relatively well even with the pandemic.
There are a ton of kpop groups under Kakao M that have been struggling since the pandemic started. They are more dependent on income from these streams because a lot of other source of income have been cut off (touring, feativals, fan signs, etc). Also, the global exposure they were getting (regardless of how big or small it was) was a plus. Now without even being asked, KakaoM went ahead and cut this off, too. Artists like IU and the other bigger ones can afford to wait it out. A lot of the smaller/struggling ones might not make it.
Went on their website, but BTS was not listed. They should add their name otherwise ARMYs might not buy.
Just please release them all on Spotify. We want each of them to chart.
Bullying destroys lives. At my old school several people killed themselves after being bullied. Kids are kids but not stupid and beating up someone and giving someone a longtime ptsd is something people should be held accountable for. Ignoring these problems gives the victims the message that yes bullying is bad but they were only kids and stupid.
This.
Part of a CF clause usually include having a “good, clean image” and going against that can cause you to be dropped (and CF fee reimbursed). Even if Hyunjin’s case gets resolved (apologies, settlements, proved-false, etc) he is already labeled as a bully. And what’s unfair is, because of this, the whole group loses the deal.
Still one of my favorites. Love this song.
Now for the Grammys
Not expecting a win - but still hoping.

I would also like to point out here that you will never hear ARMYs trash an artist when we know that they deserve their award. Musician of the Year and Album of the Year were awarded to deserving artists, and ARMYs are fine with it. We show respect where respect is due.
The obvious biggest earners in Kpop are TVXQ and their Japanese tour numbers are insane. Just so you know, Japan has the most expensive concert tickets, merch and albums and TVXQ still manage to get between 500K - 1 million concert goers with every tour for only 2 members. Let's be honest, how much do you think they make compared to Twice, Black Pink and BTS?
As I said before, big fish in a small pond compared to big fish in a big pond.
(In my comparison, I am only talking about BTS in terms of earning capability).
Your saying that Japan has the most expensive concert tickets, merch and album prices in the world and you could be right, but BTS toured in Japan also, and are selling a lot of merch and albums in Japan, same as TVXQ. And ADD to that the tickets and the albums and the merch that they sold to the rest of Asia, and in North and South America, and in Europe, and Africa. Need I add more?
BTS were among the top earners for the past 2 years in the US - the biggest music consumer in the world. They sold an insane amount of concert tickets in 2019 for their tour all over the world (not just in Japan) and the would-be 2020 tours which were halted because of Covid. So I think it’s safe to say that for the past couple of years (maybe more) they have been earning more than the groups you mentioned.
But as I and a few others mentioned here, we don’t have their tax receipt or bank statements in front of us as absolute proof, so we’ll just go by what each one of us believe.
P.S. And just to clear something, I do think that TVXQ were top earners. It’s just that they peaked at a time when kpop reach were not as extensive as it is right now. Who knows if they peaked now, they could be earning as much as BTS. So this was not meant as a shade. Just a reality check on how much global reach kpop has now compared to a few years ago. And with the bigger global reach came a bigger market that you can sell to.
I was about to say “Who is B1A4?” but then I realized it might be considered toxic.
So I logged out, and listened to some of their songs. And - they are pretty good.
P.S. I was laughing watching one of their MVs (Baby Good Night) because they were dressed as cowboys but doing these body rolls in the chorus part. It was kinda weird
I realized after a few watch that I didn’t know the group but knew one member - Sandeul.
We’re talking here about a longer time of dominance (6 years?) in a smaller pond as compared to a shorter amount of time (3 years?) in a much much wider pond. I think all of these are pure speculation since we don’t have their tax returns in front of us, but I stand by what I believe. I still remember that one statement Psy said when Gangham Style dominated the world. He said he had never seen that much money in his life. Now multiply this several times. But as I said, each of us can have our own opinion, so we can agree to disagree. Everythings chill.
