Ya'll realize that Lolita is meant as a cautionary tale right. The book was written to depict how predators are not always outwardly repulsive looking men(as that was the common belief at the time) but can appear charming and kind while still preying on young girls.
Call me by your name isn't that bad imo as the age of consent in Italy is 17 I think, as well as some other European country. I wouldn't encourage the age gap as mentally a 17 year old and a 25 year old are at different stages of development but it's not illegal.

I don't know if it's just the video quality but her voice doesn't sound great here. I like the stripped back acoustic style of the song tho and the lyrics sound good.

Not a Moa but it's undeniable that a lot of the groups going on could see a surge in popularity due to the show that would put them equal to or above txt in popularity. It's not guaranteed to happen but it is a possibility. 4th gen boy groups are currently very close to each other in popularity and txt doesn't have a big enough lead right now to absolutely guarantee their top spot.

I literally came here to say breathing. I remember they got hate comments on Korean sites as well for it.
Bts tapped into a previously untouched(to the extent that a group could be considered successful there) market. They had a lot more room to grow as a result. While exo's main foreign market, China, was cut off to Kpop. The American market is the number 1 market in the world and in the first few years bts had a barely contested monopoly on all the Kpop fans that could be gained from the market and those in the West in general that America was the key to as the globalization superpower of the world.
Of course the Western market was also harder to tap into so they had a harder uphill climb, especially as a group from a small company. The market was harder to crack but the rewards they reaped once they did was bigger than anything Kpop had ever seen.
And people still have the audacity to argue that bts' digitals are due to fandom streaming. Every statistical and subjective polling conducted points to bts being an absolute digital monster and a favorite of the general public. Even their 'non-hits' have hit song numbers and rank high on polls like Gallup and the like.
I want one person to tell me seriously that they think the reason bts don't have big individual brand deals is because brands don't want them. Like genuinely, is the claim here that multiple other idols can get big brand endorsements but if bts did solo promotions members wouldn't be able to? Is that an actual belief held by Kpop Stans or is the drag suppose to be that they choose not to accept solo deals.
It is a well known fact that bts are the most globally popular and influential group Kpop has ever seen and there's a literal wall between them and the rest of the Kpop industry right?
