I would never let anything go near my eyes…. The risk of getting blind is to high. All this for aesthetics that don’t matter.

I think this is mostly an issue with groups mostly being supported by company Stans.
They will buy an album or two, but won’t go all their way to support votings.

People will definitely bring up the burning sun scandal...
Always.
Notice how everyone who was involved got cancelled hard (rightfully so), but Zico is still thriving and considered one of the most respected artists in the industry… but some really wanna convince others that he participated in any of it.
If he was his career would be over!

They deserve the attention.
I wish they would promote their B-sides more.

I would say it depends.
People should be able to express their disappointment, but it shouldn’t be excessive. You said it once great… move on. There is no need to point it out over and over again. Especially if you aren’t even a fan of said Group.
So in theory yeah there is no need.
But if Idols committed crimes etc, I do think people should be allowed to criticize, even if they already get massive hate. We shouldn’t condone bad behavior.
PS* I would never go on any Idols socials to post the criticism.
Like those who go all their way to make sure the Idols see it…. Nope

not all radio shows are live singing

I can understand at concerts for a few songs especially with heavy choreography (even here I prefer if they perform with backtrack instead of complete lip syncing)… but radio show ?

Either she didn’t heard that or she got the best poker face, cause i wouldn’t be able to hold my laugh xD

no because that's how we can appreciate idols raw vocals ( I'm not saying it in a negative way) but genuinely appreciate their voices since we always focus on dancing and performance only. Most of the time the encore is the way to show they can really sing since music shows usually use backing track or even lip-synch
Well there are radio shows or unplugged shows where you could do that. In these cases you actually prepare to sing live.

Busy schedules is an easy excuse
Nah people will say you’re ungrateful for not engaging with fans after winning… or think you’re running away because you got no talent.
-
They should just bring back positions so we can give a pass to dancers/rapper/visuals doing bad vocals in encores.
True.
Back in the day nobody cared if someone who had the position of the dancer or rapper couldn’t sing. Like there are many first and second gen groups with members who couldn’t hold a note, but nobody cared because that wasn’t their position to do so.
Now we don’t really have positions except of “main rapper”. Groups are promoted as Allrounders so people also expect that.

Unfortunately, many groups have exposed their vocal limitations during encores, resulting in significant criticism, sometimes to the extent that it negatively impacted their careers.
While it's understandable that Kpop fans shouldn't expect Adele or Whitney Houston-level vocals from idols, there is a reasonable expectation that they should be able to perform the songs they recorded in the studio. Some may attribute poor singing to exhaustion, but it's noteworthy that not all groups struggle vocally after intense choreography. This suggests that those who struggle significantly may already have weaker vocal abilities.
Additionally, it's disheartening to observe how anxious some idols appear after winning because they are afraid to mess up vocals. And now they even come out to apologize afterwards.
Do you believe it would be better to remove encores altogether or, at the very least, remove the requirement to sing live?
Instead, allowing idols to express gratitude to their fans or engage with them in other ways after a win might spare many groups, especially newer generations, from exposing their vocal weaknesses.

They ended up on the news

This is NOT Vladimir Putin. It is just some semi rando.
I know you're very excited Jasmine, but sharing easily disproven fake news doesn't help you at all.
This is intentional.
Especially the account she has been linking in here the most is a known propagandist.
It’s shocking how apparently “smart people” believe anything and are willing to share it because it fits whatever they are currently supporting…fact checking is not required if it fits the narrative.

This thread exemplifies a concerning lack of moral consistency and principles among many individuals. It's contradictory to mourn innocent lives lost, particularly those of children and the elderly, and then turn around and celebrate the killing of other innocent people.
It reveals how easily people can justify horrific acts when they've been sufficiently indoctrinated to believe it's justifiable. The hypocrisy of some "leftist" individuals supporting war is glaring. Just days ago, they were demanding a ceasefire to prevent the impending genocide in Gaza, only to now cheer on the impending genocide in Israel.
For many, it's not about the action itself; it's about who is affected by it. The news that Russia may support Iran in this conflict suggests the potential for another World War. Those powers siding with Iran likely do so as an excuse to target America, showing little concern for anyone in the Middle East.
Celebrating such violence is incomprehensible and reveals a disturbing trend of radicalization, fueled in part by social media. To witness people flip-flop from opposing mass casualties to actively supporting them is deeply unsettling.
This is not a victory. It's a tragic reminder of how easily people can be swayed and manipulated, ultimately leading to senseless loss of life.
