Listen to them yes but not stanning or going to fansigns because that’s „weird“. Going to a concert, buying merchandise, attending a fansign if I want to and watching interviews etc. is also part of that hobby.

Reading the responses in this thread and the other one just proves why no one outside the Kpop bubble will ever take this music genre serious.

Of course it’s allowed as an adult (male and female) to like and stan (I still don’t get what exactly stanning means) younger groups. If they have the money, they are allowed to go to a fansign as well. There are other groomer in the industry we will never see but surely not an adult fan who talks with them for a few seconds at fansigns with tons of staff and manager around.

What kind of weird mindset is it that as soon as you turn a certain age, you are no longer allowed to have any hobbies beside a family and work? It’s not like that.

Well I have never been to a fansign before and I am also not that interested in something like that but I don’t get the problem here. So what if an older fan wants to talk with them. It’s not like they are alone with the idol, there are always staff and manager around. Don’t blame the fan but the industry for debuting such young idols and held fansigns with these underage girls/boys.

As an older fan myself: Are we fans over 30 and 40 allowed to go to concerts of younger groups or is this also seen as „weird“? The ageism not only in this thread but overall among Kpop fans is really something I will never understand.

Yes it’s vile and disgusting and should be called out but in the same thread they hope that far worse than disbanding happens to Blackpink and the qrts are even more disgusting with hoping the girls die on a plane crash.

If I have the money yes I would, regardless of my age. It’s not like you don’t have any hobbies (beside working and your family) after a certain age. You can enjoy Kpop when you’re older as well and it’s their money. So why not? Do what you like as long as you want. They don’t hurt anyone.

It’s absolutely ok to criticize the government and its decisions as well as the Palestinian government because they are no angels at all.

Why is nobody criticizing what Hamas are doing? This conflict is far more complicated than a simple black/white- mindset and both sides made and make mistakes but most people here and also on Twitter choose the easy way: Israel the bad one and oppressor and Palestine the poor victim.

It’s innocent until proven guilty not the other way round. I didn’t follow the case so I don’t know what charges they have against him. If he is proven innocent or they can’t find enough to prove otherwise, good for him. May he continue to have whatever life is left after all of this, I doubt he will come back as an idol, but who knows.

If people write about how happy their future wife/husband will be or discuss nonsense like ideal height or things like that, no one has a problem that they all assume their idols are straight. Yes I am an adult and read them, with „real“ characters and also the ones with fictional characters. For me even the ones with real characters are just fiction. I don’t have a problem with ffs, if they are well written, I really enjoy reading them.

If I am weird to OP than it be so, I am old enough that I don’t give af whether someone thinks I am weird or not. If you don’t like it, then don’t read it, there are tons of great books and fictional ffs out there to read.

Nothing wrong with that if it’s consensual. Both are adults. There are enough couples irl where one partner is in their 20s and the other one over 40.
