The lineup isn't great either.

The arrangement of the song was poor. Most of the song was them "Wadada" followed by a dance break and then "Oh Oh Oh" then another dance break and after that "Wadada" again.

Weird reason to leave a group completely. Why not just temporarily leave?

I think Le SSerafim's biggest problem will be that the members look a bit to similiar. You get Jisoo vibes from all of them except the former Izone members. With Blackpink and partly Aespa you can easily differentiate the members just from the first look. I think people are underestimating how important a good variance for a kpop group is.
I mean why should I care about Kim Garam or Hong Eunchae when Kazuha is similiar but better?
Obviously this is just a shallow opinion since we don't know their abilities yet.

The problem is past history is no guarantee, that too with this long a break and scandals in between. In hindsight, it is easy to say that there was no doubt.
But nobody can actually guarantee, lot of new Kpop listeners with little familiarity with Bigbang would have entered the market in the past 5 years etc.
I am glad that they have done fantastically well. But history is never guarantee enough for future success. After all every time IU releases, the question that interests more, is not whether she will hit #1, but rather will it be the first time in a very long time, when she won't.
Bigbang, BTS etc. are like IU, it is not a surprise if they succeed, but only if they don't to the levels expected of them. More so with BB due to hiatus.
But then BB coming back after this long could also be the reason they succeeded massively, missed/nostalgia value. Now if they release regularly .. how will they do, is another question?
BB releasing songs regularly? I don't think we are going to get an answer for your question.

Welcome to my very first AKP essay
Same with YG stans who think number of comebacks should be proportional to the profit. Groups dont sign with an agency to generate profit for them. They do it so RELEASE MUSIC. If they cant do what they sign for, they will leave without looking back.
JYP stans are somehow the sane ones who are advocating for their artists benefits rather than companies profit
You really shouldn't lump YG stans together with the few but loud young blackpink fans that don't understand that BP has a special gimmick and that's the reason they don't have many comebacks at least for kpop standards. People shouldn't forget that YG still to this day mostly stayed true to their motto "Korean music made by koreans" where 99% of "kpop" these days is actually american, british and swedish songs in korean language.

Most of the nugu groups are deservedly nugu but some are just unlucky.

The japanese girls looked the best for me so far. Though she looks much better in the pictures than in the video.
-
This video is a lesson for other companies on how to promote an album song.

Everyday something new comes up. Either she did some of the stuff or she made herself some really crazy enemies.
