I agree. K pop is at its most popular right now in the West, and BTS are at the forefront of that, with BP not too far behind. I think the interest in K pop will slow down at some point, just like the craze for Latin pop didn’t die but slowed down. Of course the future is predictable, but for me it’s hard to imagine other groups having the same success. The interest is at its peak right now.
For real, some people don't realise how much of an anomaly a group has to be to pull the kind of numbers they are pulling off right now... i just feel like i'm witnessing an once in a life time event.

I say that in 10 years the international interest in idol groups will die like it died in Korea.
For real i really feel like this is what will happen.

I've been following kpop since 2nd gen and even through the top groups of that gen seemed so dominant and popular (BB, TVXQ, SNSD) i still had a feeling that the next gen was going to have much bigger groups worldwide since kpop was still pretty much niche anywhere outside of asia, but nowadays after seeing the new groups that have debuted so far and considering how saturated the industry is and how koreans don't care about idol groups as much as they did in previous generations unless they are at the very top already (with a few exceptions like bg) i'm 100% convinced that BTS and BP will remain the absolute top 2 biggest groups worldwide for kpop even during 4th 5th and 6th generation i really don't see anyone matching their achievements overall, i'm not saying all other newer groups won't have success of course there will be ones who have big fanbases and good digital numbers but won't surpass BTS and BP that's just a hunch i have, i will be much more surprised if another group surpass them than if they remain at the absolute top for BGs and GGs at this point.

There's a Blood Sweat Tears x Whistle mashup on youtube with 43 million views.

Depends entirely on how big the group is, if the group is nugu then releasing very few music and spacing out the releases too much won't make people anticipate it more, but if the group is big then it could help create hype.

Both are very important imo, and i believe one can actually lead to the other i don't agree with people saying that domestic success is the only important one, BTS for example i've been an army since 2015 (and know about them since early 2014) so i've seen their journey to the top with my own eyes, of course they started gaining considerable recognition in SK when they released HYYH pt 1 back in spring 2015 but their western success expansion that started in 2017 and 2018 elevated their prestige and status in SK a lot (i think that's when knetizens started calling them ''Korea's pride'') so yeah saying that western success is not important is a whole lie.

They seem to have a considerably big sized fandom in asia (especially sk/japan) but make zero noise in the west. Correct me if i'm wrong but that's the impression i get.

I want another upbeat song. We have had ballads two times in a row. Next track has to be upbeat
exactly their last album and jp song were soft/slow tempo, i want something upbeat this time.

It wont be another dynamite though because it was a out liar not the standard.
Nah sorry to disappoint you but Dynamite was not a miracle or a one-time thing, everytime they release a GP friendly english single with good promotion and decent radio/playlisting support the results are going to be extremely good, they just need to actually do it again.
