No other Korean artist or Asian artist for that matter has been able to reach the levels BTS have. So it is stupid to say they reached to these highs only because they are a boy group. There was no precedent set for them. No one saw it coming. Literally no one.
You are making it sound like Blackpink had less opportunities, lower consumer base and more challenges than BTS just because they are a girl group when we all know it is not true at all.
Blackpink could reach where they did mainly because they were completely dependent on what was given to them. They had the precedent set for them. Hence they could add to it and reached their level of success. They are just another kpop group like everyone before them hence none of them reached the world stage even though they had bigger and better chances of doing so.
BTS success is more down to them being once in a generation group (and I'm not talking about kpop generations here) than just being a boy group. That's why they became not just the biggest boy group in the world but the biggest artist to ever come out of Korea and Asia. They are setting the precedent for not just other kpop groups but all the Korean and Asian artists to follow.
Lmaooo talk about wanting to be a victim so bad, these blinks... as if it's easier for a boy group to be more accepted (and less mocked) than a girl group in the west by the general population

BTS have lots of fans in India. They might even have more fans in India than anywhere else in the world because of how big Indian population is. As is evident by how India did better than even Japan for 'Butter'.
But I feel BTS should do a concert at the biggest stadium in the world. It will be fun to see 100k+ people at a single venue.
i remember JK went viral VIRAL with a boy with luv dance practice edit in india, it reached millions of locals there

No, I despise them. We all know why.
Let me be more specific. It's most of the Army here, on reddit and twitter.
Who knew people could have their brains so warped by toxic parasocial attachments to idols that they would defend a building (that MHJ designed by the way).
If it was just that, I would laugh it off, but the hate train they started and tried to crush NewJeans with, for a month straight, is something I'll never forgive and forget.
- They spread all the fake news and false rumors from the ridiculous Hybe media play
- They continue to pretend that ADOR/MHJ dragged BTS into the controversy, and will ignore any attempts to show them that it was Hybe, since it would compromise their excuse to hate NewJeans
- They supported and retweeted an exploitative, clout-chasing YTuber who has a history of misogyny and publicly lobbied for the members of NewJeans to be HANGED
- They themselves sent a bunch of death threats to NewJeans members and those that support them
- They started DOXXING people who supported ADOR/NewJeans, and when some people of color had their personal details exposed, they started harassing them further with obscenely racist comments
- They drafted an idiotic petition to have MHJ dismissed from Hybe
Have I mentioned the fact that they did all this toxic idiocy, despite the fact Korean Army were completely against Hybe from the beginning, criticized them for both using BTS as shields AND failing to defend them, and sent protest trucks and wreaths to Hybe HQ telling them to stay away from BTS?
My opinion of international Army couldn't be any lower than it is today. Literally.
