Why are boy groups stans so sensitive when digitals and streaming are brought up?

    How can It be successful stan behavior If boygroups aren't successful for people stanning them for that, since digital is the only releavant metric? Girlgroup stans must decide

    They don't like to be reminded almost no one listen to their faves music and album sales are in fact irrelevant to determine any kind of impact in music industry

    Why I like gg stans better, they fight but at least they are willing to have a discussion… boy group stans rather hide everything and hush hush it away

    You mean in Korea? Cause internationally boygroups come very close to girlgroup streams and that’s when you look at title tracks. With b-sides boygroups get more streams by far, but i don’t see you saying this nonsense about 4th gen girlgroups

    Because bgs tend to have stronger fandoms who tend to stream their title tracks. And the point remains. No one cares about BG music and they won’t be remembered in the next years. A few spotify streams for bsides won’t change that

    it is funny how the same users even mention they don’t care about digitals and streams but get affected by it as well.

    The top 3rd gen girl groups are still doing great, no bg except for BTS comes close to BP's numbers, TWICE are doing great on it, Red Velvet just peaked at over 8M MLs.


    (G)I-dle and Aespa are doing as great Itzy, with Aespa's songs having the same stream numbers as Itzy's latest songs, and (G)I-dle also surpassing the 6M MLs.


    So no, it's not just ITZY and IVE. A lot of girl groups are doing fine on Spotify.
