I almost don't want them to because there are so many strings attached to the Chinese market. If you sneeze wrong it's an insult to China. Also their media gives credit to Chinese fans for stuff they didn't do in order to make the situation look a certain way.

(I'm still mad about state media and the Chinese fans they interviewed saying with their whole chest that their purchases significantly helped Hot 100 charting and BTS' success in America when, in fact, those sales are all filtered out for both the BB200 and Hot100. At that point I was done with all of them.

tbh bts does amazing in china, certainly for a group that has been the target of many attacks by chinese netizen over them being proud koreans , but i am curious what this change will do.

It's definitely UMGs doing considering BTS's JPN discography has always been on QQ (UMG Japan is their JPN discography distributor and has been for a while even when the boys were under Columbia for other regions).
