In all seriousness, I hope this was simply an honest mistake due to technical error. It wouldn't hurt to ask for clarification just to make sure. You'll be able to tell by the vibes in how they treat you after this.
If they were negligent and inconsiderate of you, you probably dodged a bullet. Those places aren't worth your time or energy anyway.
