I saw something on Reddit a while back about a guy who got on a train after a long day of work, and he was obviously exhausted, so he took his seat, and there was a pregnant woman standing up, so people started telling him to get up, and he refused, so he was called the asshole. 
Do you think it's a MUST that you get up for pregnant women? And that you're an asshole if you don't?
like someone has to allow the pregnant woman to have a seat, like if the bus takes a bad turn and she accidentally kills the baby just cause noone gave her a seat

Like Lulu said, if it’s a designated seat, of course. But if it’s not and you’re so exhausted/sick then it’s ok. But if you’re healthy/not tired and don’t give up your seat, I’ll be side eyeing you. Been pregnant before and yes it’s exhausting carrying extra kgs and hormones do weird shit to your body. So any form of kindness will be so appreciated.
Well it all depends on the circumstances I think. Anyone could have gotten up for the woman too, not just the man that just sat down in that situation. So to put all that pressure on that one individual is unfair.
But in general, I know I would give my seat up if a pregnant woman asked or if she looked like she was over exerting or looked acceptionally tired. That is just common courtesy that honestly I think as time moves forward is getting lost; which is devasting in of itself.
I would and have, but I wouldn't call out anyone for not doing it... though that's probably cause I've never been in such a situation since I always give up my own seat.
If you're healthy and able, it's the right thing to do. I would even give up my seat for young, able people.
Would I judge someone for not doing it? Probably not because I don't know what a person may be going through.
the man just had a long hard day, the woman had to carry what's inside for 9 months
