Correct. For a fansign, the way you get in is to generally purchase albums from a specific store in a specific time period. You're then entered into a lottery, with the number of chances you get determined by the number of albums you purchase (for a major group, some people say that you should purchase around 100 albums to have a good chance of being picked).

Fansigns are generally limited to around 150 people, so they're much more intimate. You basically get to approach the members, who are sitting at a table, and then talk to each of them for a couple minutes, and have each member sign your album. You can also give members gifts (if their company allows them to accept them), and they will often perform a couple songs or play some games.
